Medja
Appearance
Medja is the picture of elegance, grace, and extravagance. Her caramel skin is unblemished by scar or sun. Her dark brown hair is lustrous, straight, and long, stretching down past the small of her back. Her facial features are soft and welcoming in appearance, with the exception of her eyes; piercing, bright green eyes, strikingly large and almond shaped.
Medja is usually meticulous about her makeup: she wears black eyeliner above and peach colored eye shadow beneath her eyes to accentuate their already attention grabbing beauty. She wears a rose colored shade of lipstick on her upper lip, drawing a line down from it to a point at the base of her chin. Her lower lip and the rest of her face she leaves bare.
Medja's choice of attire can only be described as excessive. She wears a lavish headdress, striped green and white and adorned with golden, wing shaped accoutrements made to invoke the emblem of God King Gerra's empire. She wears a flexible, gilded mantle on her neck and shoulders that somewhat resembles a gorget; golden, caped faulds; gold armbands and thigh cuffs; all of which are decorated with emeralds.
The strangest part of her attire is perhaps the bandages she has wrapped her arms, legs, and midsection with. The odd things look binding, but seem to unwrap and loosen just enough for her to move her limbs unhindered, then tighten on there own thereafter.
Lastly, Medja can usually be found with her favored weapons, the Fists of Aramekh. They are a pair of enormous stone and metal hands that follow her, floating weightlessly in the air. They have also been embellished with gold and emeralds to match the rest of her look.

Skills and Abilities
Medja is a masterful manipulator first and a skilled mage second. She prides herself as a diplomat, an adviser, and a gatherer of information. Medja enjoys pulling at the strands of the web that makes up Gerra's kingdom behind the scenes. When her king needs something done quietly or in a way that puts another party at fault, Medja is usually the one to handle it...and she does so with enthusiasm and efficiency. Over many years she has developed her own personal network of spies and assassins in places high and low. Though unknown to the grand majority of Amol-Kalit's underworld, Medja has her coils around a significant portion of the criminal underbelly of the region.
While Medja prefers subterfuge and espionage to combat, she is hardly defenseless. Though she has never disclosed the full range of her abilities Medja is a powerful geomancer. She can manipulate and draw upon the strength of earth, stone, and sand. This manifests in a number of ways.
Kinesis
Magically hurling boulders, shifting the ground, and causing localized sand storms are all easy feats for Medja. She mostly uses this aspect to levitate herself and her favored weapons. The Fists of Aramekh are made of a material capable of absorbing nearly endless amounts of physical and magical punishment while still being relatively light and malleable, at least in terms of her magic; Medja is a cunning master of the weapons.
Deepsense
Earth and stone hold many secrets, and Medja is skilled at divining them. She can sense the layout of stone and earthen structures, both artificial and natural, by simply touching them. She can also use her magic to sense vibrations within the ground or walls; she usually uses this aspect to locate movement or to eavesdrop.
Siphon Alhaya
A forbidden art that Medja keeps hidden from all but herself. Medja can drain the life from the earth itself to maintain her own life force.

Personality
Medja is the picture of poise and sophistication. She is prideful, vain, and arrogant. To look upon Medja is to know superiority. She is also incredibly manipulative and is both aware of her beauty and willing to use it to her advantage.
Yet, for all her flaws, her attitude is not unearned. Medja is a truly cunning and wise mind. She has clawed and manipulated her way up from nothing and has developed her confidence as a result.
Perhaps more than anything, Medja is both playful and ambitious. While there is always greater power to yearn for, it is the chase that thrills her rather than the goal.

Biography & Lore
Medja was a child of Ragash, born and raised long before the rise of Gerra the God King. Born to a destitute family and quickly given up to an orphanage, Medja learned from an early age that the only person she could rely on was herself. Witnessing the brilliance and extravagance of Ragash around her slowly began to fill Medja with jealousy. Why should so many others live such lavish lives while she was consigned to poverty? As time went on, Medja's desire for a better life grew insatiable. As a young adult she started her climb up Ragash's social ladder. There was nothing she wouldn't do, no head she wouldn't step on to acquire coin or renown. Mistakes happened and bad deals were made but each setback only served to teach her a lesson and strengthen Medja's resolve.
Soon enough Medja found herself serving as an attendant to several Ragashi nobles and politicians. She used her connections to weave a web within Ragash's political system. She became an information broker, cementing herself as a high profile individual among the Ragashi elite. As her power and standing increased, however, so too did her ambition. Magic was something she had dabbled in for some time; indeed, she found that she had a connection to the sands of the desert...but she knew that she could do so much more.
Medja researched for years, trading information, favors, and coin for any nuggets of knowledge she could get her hands on in terms of increasing her own lifespan. In time, she happened upon what she had been searching for: the Siphon of Alhaya, an ancient and forbidden art of earth manipulation. Many years, several fortunes, and untold lives were sacrificed in her pursuit of the mystic technique, but finally an expeditionary force she had commissioned returned with what she sought. A tome which she could use to decipher the secrets of the technique and a pair of magical fists which she could use in tandem with her own magic. When Medja had finished with the tome she burned it, ensuring that the secrets of Alhaya would die with her.
Eventually Medja began to grow bored with the social politics of Ragash. She had accomplished her goals, so what was left to do? She thanked the gods that the monotony resolved itself. Gerra of Molthal slew Shah Bardya at the Battle of Ninagal and claimed rulership over the city. Shortly after, the half-giant conqueror was declared God King of Amol-Kalit. While most of the governors of Ragash, former or else wise, saw this as a disaster, Medja saw opportunity. A new kingdom and a new web...the woman was quick to declare her fealty to the new ruler. Before long she counted herself among his innermost circle, the sorceress of his court. She mostly carries out difficult tasks behind the scenes for Gerra with ruthless efficiency, a habit that has earned her the title of the God King's Hands.
To Medja, the acquisition of power and the ebb and flow of politics is little more than a game...one that Gerra's hostile takeover made substantially more interesting.
