Fable - Ask Cultures of Elbion (College)

A roleplay which may be open to join but you must ask the creator first
"hm? Oh! right. a coin please." Thadd added to the poor horrified woman.
Despite her obvious displeasure the charms of Thadd's oblivious grin must have won her over.
She fished around in her purse (using the hand not currently covered in brie) and followed the example of the other customer plinking it into the jar.

Thadd nodded along with the gentleman's compliment. He had thought Pomrick savy as well! Aside from the whole falling asleep bit, Pomrick had seemed very onto of that complicated class they had both sat in on. He couldn't blame the guy for falling asleep with all those complicated words flying about.
Perhaps falling asleep was a bit of an epidemic at the college, Nil seemed to fall asleep all the time these days. He watched Pomrick search around for something, then look his way.

Thadd handed the knife to Pomrick with the eager movements of someone brimming with a desire to be helpful. He really wasn't all that good at coming up with ways to do that so he jumped at the chance whenever directly asked.

He watched Pomrick as if ready to learn a little something about the cheese himself.

In-between curious patron's he snuck in a bit of conversation "I didn't know you were from Oban?"

Nilamani offered an amused smile at the Twin's differing reactions. There were certainly a few students they had met that were very personable, but these two seemed especially friendly.
It was a bit of a breath of fresh air in a way.
"I'm told both the bitter and the sweet are made from the same powder. If you can get your hands on it, such a trick might be easy to conjure up." Though they were a luxury the sweets did seem a touch ordinary in the shadow of the college. Though perhaps it was best not to mix magic and food. Not many of the wizards at the college seemed fond of doing so, so perhaps there was some unpleasant side effects to doing so.

"Learning hm...." Nilamani replied in thought as they cast their eyes about the festivities again.
They could of course just eat their way through the booths. The serpent was not opposed to that idea. They were far from a picky eater and a bit curious about what others had on offer as well.
They of course glanced across the way to the Oban booth. Nilamani knew that there might be little in way of education to be had there. Seeing as neither were from Oban, and they had a sneaking suspicion that neither were particularly well informed on cheeses, Obanian or otherwise.
"We could stop in to see how the lads are doing?"

Their eyes traveled further along the booths toward something glinting.
"Elsewise, that booth from Falwood seems to have a game and some rather fetching little plants."
Two booths decorated in foliage and greens like the forest was just close enough to make out. One lined up with small potted plants and vases with exotic flowers, another next to it had a large wooden tank set out. Festival goers were paying for the chance to attempt to 'fish' small glittery enchantments in the shape of goldfish from the water. It seemed if you won they would provide a small jar to keep your 'fish' in.
