What are your favourite memories of Chronicles?

What are some of your favourite memories?

I'm talking to big concepts and roleplay no longer with us?

For me it will be two things:

1) Orcs. Back in the early days I think almost everyone started an orc. They weren't mindless rage machines, but tall and wiry creatures surviving in their tribes.

2) Pandemonium. The forum was at a low ebb and suddenly everyone came together for this epic about invading demons, culminating with three huge battles to drive off the demonic lords.

I’m loving a lot of my current stories, but looking back..

1. Empire 2020. It was the place to be and I miss a lot of my stories with Nym from back then.

2. The Forsaken. Some of the darkest RP I’ve written. Big up to Szesh for Nat’s emotional conflict and Myrra for writing the best villain I’ve written with.

Another tally for Pandemonium.

When I'd first joined, I was only just returning to the idea of roleplaying/group writing, and the event gave me an awesome opportunity to dip my toes in - and I've never looked back. (wish I'd jumped into a main story thread, looking at all those shiny badges.) As well as this, the event shaped how I'd go on to write my most dedicated storyline on site. I've looked forward to seeing if and how that story continues and if my project would go well with it.

Siege of Belgrath is another, or rather, the idea of it. I myself wasn't involved with that storyline directly, only the aftermath of it in the creation of the Empire.

I read that thread, and it(from what I remember, its been a while) was such a well done group project with two opposing, pretty well defined sides to the conflict. All without mod oversight if I recall. Stuff like that when folks just get into it, and see where it goes.
