Hello one and all, I introduce to you Wilkas Thornbuck: Gnome, Bard, an all around fun guy. Things are changing in his life as he is the first in many generations in the Leafspring Clan to leave the Falwood. His expectations of the world are untamed and unexperienced. His only experience with the taller races has been his singular visit to Fal'Addas and travelers through the woods.

I am currently looking for someone willing to guide Wil on his journey to Vel Anir the first stop on his final destination of Elbion. He is a little bit of trouble. Ever persistent and constantly taking things out of context. But don't worry should they be attacked by goblins, trolls, kobolds, or whatever native menaces he can be of help.

So throw some of your characters at him and make an interesting friend!
 
Britta here is a mercenary, so maybe she can be someone that Wilkas hires?
She was born and lived most of her life in one of the villages outside of Vel Anir, so she knows how to get to Vel Anir at the very least! She can fight as well! Although apart from her bow, that has been mostly untested so far! Let me know if you're up for throwing the two of them together and seeing what happens!
 
Wilkas doesn't have much in the way of gold being from an isolated bartering society. However I am sure he can make due, and may not truly understand the concept of gold and coin at first. But life is a learning experience perhaps he promises her gold he doesn't have. Who knows what may be possible.

But I am down for Wilkas and Britta taking the journey from outside the Falwood to Vel Anir.
 
Marius is a scholar from the College of Elbion and could be out near Vel Anir on a research mission and then bump into Wilkas and offer to help him on his way back to Elbion, I think it'd be interesting for my well educated and well traveled guy to meet your innocent and inexperienced gnome.

Cool! That's more than fine. Britta's not very experienced herself and she can be pretty naive in some areas, so maybe she truly believes that he will pay her with gold he doesn't have at the end. Maybe she could be reasoned with something else instead as well. We can play it out and see how it goes!
 
Mayhaps he can come across Luc who is actually heading down from Elbion. Luc is a bit of a fugitive currently so there meeting would be interesting to say the least.
 
Oh my such choices! If Britta, GreekGod, and Luc are willing to make this something of a group I can shape together a plot that can string everyone together and take them on a journey. But because Britta replied first, and would be more comfortable with a 1x1 i'd go with her for this thread!

Let me know what you wonderful people would prefer.
 
I'll respect Britta's decision, if she wants a group, a group works, if she wants a 1x1, that's good too. Just let me know if you want a group!
 
That sounds like a plan, I'm definitely still up for it if Luc is, although I need to establish one thing with him, is this thread taking place before or after the one we're currently in together?
 
I'd say after perhaps? Luc and Marius meeting again can be dicey, being that Luc thinks he is after him now.
