Fable - Ask Always Ask for More

A roleplay which may be open to join but you must ask the creator first
Lady Virak's face was a scarlet mess. Her eye carrying a yellowed brown bruise that was beginning to set in. Part of her lip was split. They had treated her as if she were some kind of commoner.

Elise was part of House Virak and Ania was pledged to serve House Weiroon. But when non-Anirian pests like these pirates go after the nobility of any house, even the ruling council, they insult all of Vel Anir. And worse still, if they choose to lay a finger on the highborn of Anirian society they deserved nothing short of an excruciating death. The fact that Ania actually liked Elise Virak caused her blood to boil even hotter.

There would be no need for Ania to check on the well being of their commander. That was the job of a level four and she wasn't going to insult Elise's honor further by dotting over her. She had orders to color the sand a lovely crimson.

When the freckled dreadlord noticed Vittorio and saw him drop a captive at Elise's feet she reasoned that he must've arrived just after Lady Elise's command to slaughter all but the shipmaker. A grin overtook her porcelain face as sand scrunched beneath her steps. She drew her saber and came inches away from the captain who was begging for his life like a blithering idiot.

"You would ask a noblewoman of Elise to be your captive and then you'd have the gall to ask her for mercy when you get precisely what you deserve?" the question was spoken with annoyance. Without waiting for any further words from the disgraced captain Ania swiftly brought her blade down at his neck, beheading him.

They'd received a commandment. None leave this beach. Ania walked off, blood seeping from her saber, to cleanse the beach of the rest of the vermin.

Jana spent the rest of the time till they got to the coast cleaning her staff. Obviously, she didn't see the blood and other dirt on it, the physical part of it barely bothered her, but parts of people recently alive still radiated some energy, and it was distracting.

As they got down from the ship, she spent a moment still, sensing the scenery around them, engraving it in her memory as best as she could, looking for living beings that were here. Lady Virak took little time to catch her attention, not only because Jana recognized her inner flow, but mostly because it had a layer of other energy on it, burning like a beacon on the beach. Those were emanations of something, leftovers it seemed, but it still made Jana question what this woman had just done here. She could sense the corpses, faintly, and the same force around them.
Interesting. The magic of Virak family was truly worth some respect, even if Jana had little for the house itself, above them being Anirian and thus above anyone else by default.
"Lady Virak," she was quick and respectful in her greetings, bowing her head shortly, lingering only for a moment to hear what her fellow servant of House Sirl had to say, and to feel how the girl of Weiroon ended some petty life.

She didn't care much for either one of those. The current goal was clear, to rid the beach of any lives that might be left here. She stilled for a moment more, before heading the opposite direction from the Dreadlord of Weiroon, following the glow of life nearby.
Jana would enjoy setting it out, as much as she would enjoy getting back to Vel Anir to tell the tale of this mission to those of her House.
