LFG Crime Syndicate of Arethil

Well then, I guess it's my turn!

Gwendolyn: Isak wouldn't go as far as saying he trusts her, he barely trusts his own shadow for that matter, but he somewhat admires her. As a person who deals in information as well, Isak sees her as a very valuable asset, and quite intriguing. He offered her a place to stay in the Raven Club after she approached him with the offer to aid in the renovations, and Isak would never turn down the advantage of having someone like her around, often leading him to jobs and leads on some of his rivals in Alliria.

Charity: As annoying with her tricks as she is resourceful, Isak could almost say he enjoys watching her pick the pockets of gullible patrons at the Raven Club with her illusions, especially when he takes some of that money for himself. He does pay for her help in jobs that require a more 'gentle' hand in acquiring rarer objects.

Eilerias: Isak isn't fond of her faith and innocence, especially in a place like Alliria. He appreciates her healing talents, and seeing as Gwendolyn vouches for her, Isak offers her whatever protection she needs. He likes to rile her in regards to her faith, often wondering why she's so devout. Isak already endured many hardships on his young life, making him very skeptical about the existence of gods that could judge and protect him, but he's often surprised by her gentle presence and touch whenever she's helped him with his injuries.

Oh goodness, I've been put on the spot here :p

Gwendolyn: A somewhat regular in need of her services. Eilerias worries for her wellbeing and admires how hard she works, but often wonders how she ends up getting hurt. She always pays well, so Eileras isn't going to pry into her work. She trusts her and would confide in her if anything ever came up- which it does. Eilerias tends to talk her ear off about things she's likely not interested in but she doesn't take the hints well.

Charity: Eilerias doesn't know her personally yet, but she has seen her quite a few times around The Raven Club. She finds her sort of mesmerizing to watch, but doesn't tend to pick up on her tricks being pulled on others.

Isak: Eilerias respects Isak deeply and appreciates the protection he offers her. She finds him intimidating and tries her best to please him. She's not really too sure what he's up to entirely, but she knows he is probably not one to be messed with.

thank you Okay so Finn is human and i was thinking he is part of the mafia. He is the big bosses newfew. Joined when he was only 15 ( currently 22 ) after his parents were murdered by a gang whilst on vacation in a village close to their home city.

Finn is human

Where are we writing ? Can sombody attach the link please

And i think isak would know Finn because Finn is basically one of the longest and biggest guys in the mafia itself so finn himself i think would be well known....he isnt the nicest of chaps and basically Eilerias's main clientel so to speak.

Known playboy but doesnt settle down EVER for personal reasons ( not wanting a family or getting to close to anyone because of what happened wirh his parents )

Okay excuse me now while I catch up

There is another issue though. Since tieflings aren't generally liked, and he in turn generally doesn't like people, how exactly would he get along with or affect the group dynamic? If there's any sort of racism involved it could easily cause trouble for the group, if not he could learn to work with them. So how would he actually fit in with a group like this?
Finn basically dgaf about where you come from or who you are so he personally will treat you like a normal person

I suppose there'll be plenty of injuries and near death experiences for messing with Alliria's big bosses once we start this alliance hahahah
And I think because Finn has been in the game so long him and Isak should actually be close friends?

He knows Gwen aswell because she does all of his Uncles ( the godfather big boss man ) intel

Hey, it's no issue at all. We were all beginners at some point, and I cringe when I look back. But it's perfectly fine, you have to start somewhere.

I'm pretty sure I speak for all of us when I say we're glad to have you involved.

Gmt-4 for me.

And a word of advice, when I started out I found that making sure my grammar and spelling was correct was a bit of a challenge, especially with the monster that is autocorrect. Not really criticism, just a little advice for making sure your posts make sense, I've had partners PM me asking what I meant XD

Well I didn’t realize my meeting was interrupted When I typed all of that last night I’ll have an edit including this..new person.. Up later. Thank you again Quoril for once again being so...kind.. and..inclusive... My fingers ache from the amount of sarcasm I had to apply to just those two words and I hope they hurt you more than me.

Oh and I wonder who’s quote this is. From something that started out the same way.
“Fine! From now on I'll stop including people and you can tell them they can't join.” That was copy and pasted from somewhere. I wonder who said it.

I can't imagine anyone who would say something so mean! But fine we'll start letting people know the party's full.

No one said anything about the group. Anyone can be in here.

Idc if I’m the one that has to be mean I’m sick of the threads we try to open and we get late joiners that expect the same effort of history and inclusion after everything else has been established and we have a cast and a set story line. The tiefling was a late edition and didn’t expect us to know them as a newcomer.

That’s fine.

But when they pick a character and a role that jams them in the middle of people I have established history with and I have to completely adjust everything.

That means Re write, Re plan, re do everything I was planning because now I have to take into account a completely new history.

It’s very entitled and selfish even if they themselves aren’t trying to directly be. And if I can’t be a bit frustrated and peeved then I don’t know why I bother trying if we can just shit out whatever works and bring anyone that wants in at anytime until one stalls our thread.

Whatever.
But yeah IM the mean bad guy. And don’t like my raven post. I have changes to make now apparently.

So a few important notes for Finnegan Argon:

- This is a group of total randos. Nobody knows everybody else. They might know one or two other people but not on a personal level and certainly not like half the group.

- The only people who really have any inkling about what's going on are Gwen and Isak and even they know next to nothing about the big picture of what's going on behind the scenes. (Like who hired them for this job, the reasoning behind it, ect. Well... so far at least).

- Finnegan wouldn't know anything about there being any other people at the meeting. All he would know is that he got a mysterious letter telling him to go to The Raven Club at a specific time and date.

- Nobody (in this group of characters at least) knows the Father (The Big Boss). We know of him but haven't actually ever seen or met him. This also means nobody is related to him.

-Lastly: Be nice to Gwen! >:v

Well, I believe this is very much open for anyone to join but I do agree with Gwen that it can be tricky to alter stuff midway our posts and future plans because of late additions, especially when it's not simply a stranger dropping into the fold of action like Sirius. Most of the characters involved here already have some sort of implied relation with the others, like most are already working with/for Isak and using the Raven Club as a home.

I believe this idea will go on for many threads after this - we will be forming a grand crime syndicate after all - and as such, there'll be plenty of time and space for any newcomers wanting to join our little merry brotherhood as we seek to expand and rule over the world (jk, but maybe? :D)

And also, let's all be nice to each other! It's not easy to pull off heists if we're at each other's throats hahahah

Get bent Isak. Just because I said what you were thinking as well. So your welcome you now get to be nice because you don’t have to. So I’m a bit protective of my hobby. Sue me for being a bit direct. -w-

Anyway, I see this expanding and being more open the more threads we get. There’s no limit to who can be in this group. But there are cut offs for threads.

Just hang around and start help building the next and the next etc. and it expands smoothly and doesn’t hit speed bumps.

It’s a very pleasurable way of role playing where everyone is easily heard and interacted with It creates what’s usually only accomplished in small 2 to 3 people thread in a large setting evolving even more in a very intriguing, easily written way.

Oh, I'll most certainly have the last laugh, Gwen heheh

And yeah, some threads that are too large eventually get all messy and it just breaks stuff that were in the plans from the beginning but there'll be plenty of room for everyone to join!
