Biography
Elijah was born out of a magical reproductive joining of a human woman and one of the few living cloud giants. Or in other words, his dad temporarily changed his size with magic so that he can be with the woman he fell in love with.
The result was Elijah Khalo Celasaer, the orphan taken in by the church after his mother was slain and his father disappeared.
The church of the templar order raised him, as many of their warriors had been raised from orphancy. They taught him, trained him, educated him. He learned of the gods and vowed from an early age that he would become their paladin, the holy warrior of the gods to carry out their will.
But even through his vow and his training he still remained a bright spot in the lives of others. He never let himself be so blinded by duty that he couldn't see those around him, he loved everybody, appreciated them, cared for them.
When he turned eleven he became a squire of one of the templar knights. His natural strength already set him apart from the others who trained by his side, and even at twelve years old he was big enough that many considered him an adolescent young man. He received special training at the hands of his mentor that went far beyond just combat training. He learned how to exercise spirits, how to banish demons, how to invoke the power of the gods with the goal of helping the young squire fulfill his dream of becoming a paladin.
By the time he was fifteen years old he was knighted by the Templar order, and consecrated by the church to begin his mission as a paladin. He was given his own armor, a sword, and a horse for him to go out on his spiritual quest.
His quest was like so many others before him. He had to go into the world and seek out evil, he had to conquer that evil, whether it resided in himself or the hearts of others. And when he was ready the gods themselves would decided when the quest was accomplished.
The Quests
It took years, but finally he completed all of his quests, and at twenty years old he was finally granted the consecration and holy duties of a paladin.
He took his place among the other paladins of the Templar order and took part in the sacred service to the gods. He fought alongside his brothers and sister in arm, they destroyed mighty evils together. Eventually he rose through the ranks and found himself a captain, with a few other paladins placed under his command.
Now they ride across the countryside, seeking out evil wherever it resides.

The Quests
His first quest was for his holy sword, the blade of the paladin to smite the forces of evil with righteous judgement. he came upon a village plagued by a vampire, one who terrorized the people and desecrated its hoy places in spite towards the gods. He found and fought the vampire in its lair, which happened to be a church dedicated to Metisa. He cut down the creature over and over again but it wouldn't stay down. Finally he called on Metisa herself, and she blessed his sword with holy magic, giving him the ability to cut down the monster, burning it to ash.
His second quest was for his paladin charger. He was tasked by the gods to track down and kill a nightmare that had been terrorizing country villages at night and kidnapping any who saw it. He rode out and found the devil horse and during the mighty battle his own horse was slain. He was alone, on foot against a blazing demonic horse when he finally dealt the fatal blow. The gift of the gods was bestowed upon him, and the holy light of his sword went into the Nightmare, turning it into a might celestial charger far larger than any horse that could be found by normal means.
From that day forward Elijah and that horse were friends with an inseparable bond, even capable of a form of telepathic communication.
