Private Tales Sins of the Father, Part III: Catharsis

A private roleplay only for those invited by the first writer
Couldn't help the roll of her eyes to the ceiling. Of course Alistair would over-complicate something as simple as casual sex. Part of her thought he just needed to take a field trip with Eli to the nearest brothel - but Eli sat at the complete opposite end of the spectrum from Al where this subject was concerned. Elias wouldn't know decorum and propriety if it smacked him in the face with a dildo.

She narrowed her eyes at his suggestion and shook her head, "Don't make it boring, Al. Acquaintance makes it sound like fucking them is a chore you have to check off a list. Loosen the fuck up," she prodded him in the hip. But of course, loosening the fuck up was what this was all about.

"How about," she sucked air through her teeth in thought, the same prodding hand gesturing to pull a better term from the nether, "Companion."

"Yes, companion sounds much better." Alistair had to agree, at least when compared to something like fuck buddy.

He took another sip from his drink and noticed it was empty once again. He might need another. How many was that? It did not matter. All that mattered was that he was thirsty and they had more.

Al reached over and poured himself another drink as he sunk into the bed deeper.

"You would think I would be more comfortable about things like this. My father went through whores like the Great Houses go through fashion. Guess this is what happens when you lock yourself in workshops for too long."

Well at least he was amenable to something other than acquaintance. She watched him fill his glass for a fifth time, her smug look of amusement returning to her face. He was still stringing his words together quite well and for that Ral had to give the Initiate some respect.

"The only way to get more comfortable," she began as she reached forward and closed her hand around his own holding the glass, "is to do it. Helps when you have someone with experience to guide you."

Ral's smile darkened with mischief and a gleam of hunger he'd not seen in her eyes before.

Alistair was silent for several moments as he stared down at Ralene's hand holding his own. The silence lasted for several seconds. By now, it might be noticeable that Alistair was not slurring his words, but he already took time to think through his choice of words when he was sober. The more he was drinking, the longer those pauses lasted as he tried to put together his words.

Finally, he looked up from his drink and her hand to look at Ralene's eyes with a mixture of interest, worry, and confusion in his own eyes.

"What did you have in mind?"

There probably was some type of brothel in the city, but he did not remember walking by it when they entered.

By the Gods Alistair, you really are daft sometimes.

She knew his question was not at all referring to what she had in mind. Alistair clearly wasn't picking up what she was putting down and every single sign and signal of their entire conversation seemed to have sailed clear over his awareness. It was exasperating but also strangely cute, in an endearing, hapless pup sort of way. Ral shook her head faintly, smirk persisting - growing broader, "Well usually I would have had you pinned to the wall half naked by now," she leaned in, voice low and svelte, thumb tracing slow circles over the back of his hand as it held the glass, hovering half over him where he lay sunk into the comforter and pillows, "but I can be slow and gentle for your first time, if that's what you're into."

It was a good thing that Alistair had not managed to take a sip of his new drink because he would have surely choked on it. It was difficult to say where Alistair's long silence came from his drunkenness, or his shock at realizing all the signals that were laid out before him.

His response first came in the way that he slowly moved the drink off to the side and put it on the table. He could finish that later.

His face was a mask, as it often was, but just barely Ral would be able to see a small smirk beginning on his lips before he spoke.

"Oh, um, yeah...We can do that."
