Private Tales Lost It To Trying

A private roleplay only for those invited by the first writer
"Sorry."

She had clearly heard him muttering to herself and froze in place, staring at him as he faced away from her. She did not know what he was feeling, how to describe the look in his posture and the way he was breathing. It was rare that Odessa apologized for anything, especially for something she had done. But he was right again and she tried to create an explanation that he would understand.

"I wasn't trying to...ditch you," It wasn't entirely true. She had packed up and prepared to leave, heading to their next destination before he would. "How do I explain it?" She sat back on the arm of a chair, ignoring his urgency. "The night before was something new to me."

She shrugged, eyes glued to the floor. "The first time. I'm still trying to figure out how to process it, I suppose. It was strange." She looked up, icy eyes hovering over him. "Not in a bad way, but a new way. I did not know my body could react to such a thing."

She huffed a quiet laugh and stood, giving him a moment before she grabbed her own bag again. He wanted to leave and she wouldn't stop him. "Anyway, the snow. Let us get going."

Reactions: Rhidian
Rhidian felt a fool listening to her, but he was also adamant to remain honest to himself. What had happened between them on this trip was something they cannot fix right now, but Rhidian sighed and turned to look at her and offered a weak smile. "Look... we can, uh, talk about this later? Back at the Academy."

His things were not many to collect, and was by the door and waited for her.

"That is if you want to talk..." And the grin he gave her was devilish as he poked fun at her.
