Patience was one of the first lessons taught to a young Vittoria Sky Larrainth. It made her smart. It made her careful. It also made her unnerving when others became to lose stray wits. When it came to interrogations, to extract informstion from lips trained to keep tight, patience was always the card she would play.

She had decided to sit in a chair opposite their current target. This mission was an odd one, but it was close to the Academy at least. Vittoria had been paired with the intriguing Livia Quinnick, whom she had met officially a few weeks back when a murder happened at the Academy. She was working with the Vigilite, as she was now, and Vittoria got to witness a glimpse behind the curtain of an organisation that liked to operate in the shadows.

"I already gave my statement, girl." The woman bound to the hot seat soured towards Quinnick. "No one decided to follow up with more questions."

"Yes, I understand that. Two years have sinced passed and yet they assigned me the task of investigating all these cases..." Quinnick ceased her measured pacing and came to a halt between Vittoria and their guest. "You see, I know how to look through a case meticulously. Even if there are many holes in the story, I always find a lead."

Vittoria had agreed to the invitation to help purely for the astonishing way Quinnick used her magical gift of finding things. There were a great many and complex ways to go about it, but Quinnick held a wickedly accurate gut feeling.

The Initiate kept quiet. Although she was stronger and taller than Quinnick, she respected the graduated Dreadlord enough to speak when asked.

Fredericks scoffed, shaking hear head. "You are wasting my time and your own."

Vittoria leaned forward, straightening her spine as if expecting the next words from the Dreadlord. Livia smiled, and it was pleasant on her features, but offered nothing further.

"That is not how I see it. Every statement needs to be investigated, but curiosity caught me when I did read your statement... Initiate Larrainth? Mind reading it out for us?"

Vittoria smiled, "With pleasure."
