Completed Blood & Lust

"Yes..."

Eleena stepped forward and brought her arms around his waist as she stood on her tiptoes to kiss him softly.

"Please..."
Since he couldn't drink her blood he attempted to satiate his hunger in the only other way he could.

He first took her on the table, his clothes were gone in an instant and he made love to her like a wild animal.
They made love on the carpet, the couch, the bed, even the ceiling and walls weren't safe as they went at it again and again for hours.

The effects of fatigue were varied for the undead vampires. Gideon only felt exhaustion when he was deprived of blood or exposed to one of his vulnerabilities, otherwise his endurance was effectively endless, he only hoped that Eleena could keep up.

They whiled away the time fucking each other till the clock tolled ten o'clock in the evening, the sun was starting to set.

Eleena had been a vampire for quite sometime but she had always used sex as a means to get closer to her goal. This...this was different. She did not think about killing Gideon even once in the hours that they were tangled together.

Honestly, Eleena had lost track of time many hours ago and it was not until the clock struck ten that she realized that the day was gone. She was snuggled into Gideons side with her left arm draped over his chest.

She just looked up at him as the clock finished its announcement. "I suppose that means we need to get ready for the masquerade?"

She was content to stay here all night but they both needed to drink and she needed to get her mind off their activities before she pounced on him at the party.

"I suppose that means we need to get ready for the masquerade?"
He sighed dramatically, "Ah, time can be such a cruel mistress."
He tilted her chin up for a kiss, pressing his lips passionately to hers once again.
"Luckily, you are a much kinder mistress than time. However, I think I should very much like to see what you'll be wearing to the masquerade."

On his mental command a few maids entered the basement bearing dress boxes. They brought them behind a changing partition, though at this juncture it seemed rather pointless to hide her nudity from him behind a wooden screen.
He took her hand from his chest and kissed it, with less passion and more tender gentleness.
"Go ahead, my dearest. I can't wait to see what they found for you."

"Luckily, you are a much kinder mistress than time. However, I think I should very much like to see what you'll be wearing to the masquerade."

His passionate kiss lingered on her lips after he had pulled away and started to speak again.

"It is a good thing that I wish to show you," Eleena smiled at Gideon as she watched the maids come in with the boxes. She could only hope that the mistress of the house had good taste.

"Go ahead, my dearest. I can't wait to see what they found for you."

"Yes, my lord," she winked at him and then removed herself from the bed and walked over to the partition.

Eleena kind of liked being hidden because it made the reveal much better. She started to look through the boxes and narrowed it down to three. The first two were not her style in the slightest but she showed them to Gideon anyways.

The last though. The last was interesting and showed enough skin that she felt it was more up her alley. After the maids had helped her into the garment, she stepped out from behind the partition with a smile.

The dress was almost completely made of black lace. The front was much shorter than the back and it showed off her long legs beautifully. She could work with this.

"Thoughts?"

"Thoughts?"
He showed his approval in his smile as she came out in the final dress.
"Oh yes, that will do nicely I think. Like it was made with you in mind."
He rose from the bed, still naked himself as he stepped up to her.
"Let's have a turn, see the rest of you."
He took one of her hands and raised it in the air, slowly twirling her around so he could fully inspect her beauty.

"Yes, with you by my side I'm sure to be the envy of the ball, with such a staggering creature on my arm... Everyone will be envious."
He brought her back to face him and he placed another kiss on her lips.
"Shall I put on a show next for you? I think I'll wear black, to match your dress."

"Let's have a turn, see the rest of you."

Eleena smiled as she twirled for Gideon. It was a small joy that made her feel so much lighter than she had in a long time. It was like for this little time, twirling around, she could forget her problems and plans.

"Yes, with you by my side I'm sure to be the envy of the ball, with such a staggering creature on my arm... Everyone will be envious."

She highly doubted that everyone would be envious but she thanked him anyways.

It was the kiss that got her again. Eleena knew that she should not enjoy kiss kissing but she did and there was a part of her that hated herself for it.

"Shall I put on a show next for you? I think I'll wear black, to match your dress."

"Yes! Get to it," she said as she said primly at the foot of the bed.

He grinned as he gave the maids his mental commands. He slowly backed away from her and then turned to step behind the partition while the maids opened the wardrobe and brought several suites for him to try on.

The first one he came out in was rather formal, like what a wealthy noble or merchant might wear.

The second one he presented to her was more in masquerade style.

"While these are rather nice options, I doubt I could match the distinct charm of your attire, at least in my own opinion. The distinct charm I find in your dress is the satisfaction I would feel in taking it off of you."
He licked his lips at the idea, but resisted the urge.
"Perhaps you might appreciate my more traditional attire, better suited for drinking than dancing."

He went back behind the partition and came out in dark robes, open at the chest.

The first options were meh so when he commented on the charm of her dress and taking it off of her, she felt the chills roll through her body. She had never felt this way with any of her other marks but Gideon was different. She wanted to let him take off her dress right then and there.

He disappeared again and when he walked out in an outfit more suited to him, she smiled. A moment later she uncrossed her long legs and stood up.

"Yes, that is the one," Eleena walked over to him slowly and ran her hands up his bare chest.

She leaned up and kissed him softly before whispering what she was going to do to him later in his ear.

Yes...she was in trouble with this one...

She leaned up and kissed him softly before whispering what she was going to do to him later in his ear.
Her words and the way she touched him made him aroused, but he kept himself in check, kissing her as gently as she kissed him.
"Shall we go to our carriage before the bed gets us in trouble?"
He gave her a teasing smile and stepped back from her.

He bowed to her, offering his elbow to escort her like a proper gentleman.
With age came patience, and intrinsically involved with patience was self-control. He's lived long enough to know that he won't have to wait long to make her words a reality.

He escorted her out of the basement, up the stairs and into the mansion.
Servants were bustling about, apparently making arrangements for guests as they carted around bedsheets and coal for fireplaces.
They strode out the front door and a carriage was waiting for them. A footman opened the door and Gideon gave Eleena his hand to help her up before he followed her into the carriage himself.

"Shall we go to our carriage before the bed gets us in trouble?"

"Yes, I suppose we should or else we may not make it to the masquerade," a sly smile formed on her lips.

Eleena quickly linked her arm through Gideon's and they began their journey. She was excited to leave the basement because she had not done so since she arrived. It was not like she was missing much when her biggest prey was on her arm.

The cool night air hit her as they stepped out of the mansion and she just smiled. She did miss the breeze on her face no matter what her mission was.

She placed her hand in Gideon's as she stepped into the carriage and waited on her date to join her.

He joined her in the carriage and signaled the driver. With a click to the horses they were on their way to the masquerade ball.
Since the ball was taking place outside of Alliria it would be a long drive.

They had time.

"May I ask you something, Mistress Devonshire?"

"Of course,"
He crossed his legs and reached into his coat pocket, withdrawing a tin case of cigarettes.
He withdrew one and offered it to her before taking one for himself and summoning a small flame to light them.

He breathed in on the rolled herbs and let out a long puff of smoke that was dragged out of the window.
"Your sire... Did he ever take you to masquerades?"

Eleena passed on the cigarette. It was never a habit she had taken up in life or death. She did not care for the taste or the smell but she kept her mouth shut on the matter.

"Your sire... Did he ever take you to masquerades?"

The vampire stiffened at Gideon's question. Her sire. Her first target. Her first completed assassination.

"No, he did not. He preferred to stay home and I was often left to my devices."

Her sire had not been her first kill though. Eleena had killed plenty of vampires in those two hundred years.

"No, he did not. He preferred to stay home and I was often left to my devices.
He raised one eyebrow at her.
"Ah, that's a shame. But you do know how to dance, right?"
He took another drag on the cigarette.
Since he was dead he needn't worry about damage to his lungs, in fact, breathing was a conscious decision for him.
The taste wasn't anything close to blood, and his only addiction was blood, so really there was no reason to smoke. He simply used them like an accessory.

"Surely your sire didn't simply keep you around only to ask you to bed once in a while?"

"Ah, that's a shame. But you do know how to dance, right?"

"Of course, I do. I was a rich merchants daughter before I was turned," she answered and looked back out the window.

Her life before she was vampire was one she tried not to think about much anymore. It was too painful to remember losing everything in a day.

"Surely your sire didn't simply keep you around only to ask you to bed once in a while?"

Eleena looked back at Gideon once more but this time her eyes held a hint of true sadness and pain. Her sire had not been a good man and he had not treated her well at all. Whether she had a vendetta or not, she was glad to kill him to stop him from hurting her.

"He never asked..."

Her voice was so soft as she answered. She had lived with the front that they had been happy together for so long. She was tired of lying.

"He never asked...
His face went blank.
The cigarette snapped in his fingers and fizzled out.
"I see... He saw something he liked and took it... An arrogance that even I'm not innocent of... I'm glad he's dead."
He threw the remains of the cigarette out the window.

"Wish I had been awake to see his last moments. I hope it was painful."
He leaned back in his seat, folding his arms.
News like that made him angry, with her abuser and with himself because he knew that he was just like her sire once upon a time.

"Well, I'm glad you can dance. I... I hope I can show you a night worth remembering."
He was looking out the window, unable to look back at her for the moment.

"I see... He saw something he liked and took it... An arrogance that even I'm not innocent of... I'm glad he's dead."

The change in Gideon's demeanor caught off Eleena off guard. She was not even sure that he liked her so to care about her past abuse surprised her. She did appreciate it though. Weirdly.

"Wish I had been awake to see his last moments. I hope it was painful."

"It was..."

Her voice was just as quiet as before. She had been so cagey about killing her sire because the further punishment she may incur but now she spoke the truth. She (again weirdly) trusted Gideon even though something in the back of her mind told her that she should not. She pushed it aside.

"It was very painful for him..."

"Well, I'm glad you can dance. I... I hope I can show you a night worth remembering."

Eleena noted that Gideon was no longer looking at her and she frowned slightly.

"I am sure you will, Gideon. You are not him. You wouldn't hurt me," she hoped.

"It was very painful for him..."
If what she said about her sire was true, then he could certainly find no fault in her for killing him... Sure, the vampire leaders still believed in elitism, a sire more valuable than a spawn and for the simple crime of killing a sire would be enough to sentence her to death.

However, only he knew the truth, so knowing that, he will simply declare her innocent of the crime entirely to carry out the sentence she deserves.
It's the killing of the other two vampires that will be harder to work around.

"I am sure you will, Gideon. You are not him. You wouldn't hurt me," she hoped
He smirked, smiling ruefully at her words.
"I wouldn't hurt you, yet I could still have you executed... However I swear to you that no harm or violation came to you while you slept under thrall of my bite..."
Why did this disturb him so much? Why justify himself to her?
The thought of violating her in her sleep had certainly crossed his mind, but he thought it might catch her more off guard if he didn't... But why?

He realized... His own mistress, his own sire never asked either... Or rather, he was never allowed to refuse.
He smiled and turned to look at her fully.
"Apologies, I didn't mean to bring down the mood with my questioning. What is something you would like to know about me?"

"I wouldn't hurt you, yet I could still have you executed... However I swear to you that no harm or violation came to you while you slept under thrall of my bite..."

Eleena supposed that was one small mercy. She wouldn’t have put it past him because that is what vampires did. They took what they wanted and they did not fear any consequences.

That was why Eleena had started on her path all those years ago. To rid the world of the scum who hoisted themselves up on pedestals as all powerful beings.

The feelings of sadness were gone and replaced with the anger that she was used to. The need to kill the vampires.

It didn’t matter how she was starting to feel about him, Gideon needed to die.

“Apologies, I didn't mean to bring down the mood with my questioning. What is something you would like to know about me?"

Eleena finally looked up at his face again. What was something she would like to know about him? So many things and most of them were snide or confrontational. It wouldn’t be good to get him upset tonight…not after the hours they spent tangled up in each other. She tore her mind from the memories and the smile that had slowly started to form on her face.

“Why are you back?” She asked simply.

Why had he woken up after so long? What did her hope to accomplish? Would he actually kill her? Would she be able to actually kill him?

"I think I told you, or perhaps I assumed someone else had. I've been resurrected from my slumber to prevent the genocide of vampire kind."
His face softened once again and he once again freely met her gaze.
"Apparently, one dubbed "The Vampire King" had made himself a nuisance, and the mortals reacted. The Kinniger Duchy responded with a purge, training their warriors to battle and slay vampires with great efficiency. They fought through the armies that fool had gathered to his cause, and ultimately they destroyed the vampire king. However, the mortals purge has not stopped. In their desperation the remaining organized vampires have discovered my existence and brought me back... Apparently I had almost passed out of memory entirely save but a few dusty old scrolls."

Oh yes, she remembered Gideon and that other strange vampire speaking of this but she had been so lost in her blood lust that she was only half paying attention.

"Yes, I kind of remember you telling this to that other vampire," Eleena admitted. She felt a little bad that she had tuned them out now but not that bad.

"And how lucky for me that you were not passed out of memory," she said with a small smile and took his hand in hers before meeting his eyes again.

Eleena had meant those words and she was confused as to why she meant it. She was supposed to make him trust her and fall for her so of course she needed to make it sound like she meant it. Yeah...that was it.

He smiled at the memory, "Ah yes, that fellow with the strange bloodline. I admit, he is an anomaly that I've never seen before, even in my considerable life."

"And how lucky for me that you were not passed out of memory," she said with a small smile and took his hand in hers before meeting his eyes again.
He raised her hand and kissed it, his red eyes not leaving hers.
"Lucky for me as well... I think I'm tempted to remove that dress prematurely, Mistress Eleena."
He leaned in towards her but stopped shy of claiming her lips in his.
"If you want... We do have quite the drive ahead of us... Though it seems such a shame to not wait till the proper hour in our own chambers... Waiting for the reward makes it that much sweeter..."
He put a hand on her bare thigh, but didn't go further than that.

Ultimately he moved back and sat in his seat again with a sigh that sounded like he was even disappointed in himself.
"Sorry, we really should wait... It feels like a promise, we should wait till we get home before we tear each other's clothes off."

She would've gladly made the most of their long trip but waiting was probably better. She needed to stop fucking him before she completely forgot why she was here in the first place.

To kill him.

"You enjoy torturing me, Lord Gideon," she replied and did place a chaste kiss on his lips.

Eleena did not let go of his hand as she sat back again.

"Tell me something about yourself," she spoke with a genuine smile.

He smiled at her teasingly, "Oh, you have no idea. By the end of this night you will know that I am a manipulative bastard and I'm quite accustomed to getting what I want... Or perhaps you are the catalyst for change in my Unlife."
Eleena did not let go of his hand as she sat back again.

"Tell me something about yourself," she spoke with a genuine smile.
This was slightly unexpected, her genuine shows of affection and warmth towards him... She almost convinced him that she wasn't a killer.
"Something about myself? Hmmm... I suppose it should come as little surprise, but my favorite little factoid I share about myself is that even I have lost track of how old I am. I can't even remember how old I was when I lost count of the ages... Long stretches if sleep where time passed quickly for me, awakening in times of darkness where nobody kept score of the age or the date and nobody could tell me how long I've been asleep... Sooner or later I simply gave up, didn't worry about it anymore. I take each new age as a fresh new start."
