Lilette was a daughter of House Blackbriar in the northern Falwood, and like many of her siblings, was struck with a mysterious illness after the death of her mother amidst the siege of her home. She was rendered averse to magic and her body began to fail.

She spent most days reading in her quarters where she was kept for her own safety but her condition worsened still. When the doctors said she had mere days to live, Lilette snuck out to stargaze by the lake each night until one evening, when the twin-moons were full, she met a stranger on the shore.

The pale man offered to take her pain away, to which she naively agreed. He bit her neck, and drank her blood till none remained. Lilette remembered very little of that night, awakening hours or perhaps nights later, in her home and surrounded by family.

All dead.

The newly born Vampire fled her home without guidance nor understanding of that night, though theorizing brought no comfort. She wandered alone and confused, learning by instinct to feed among the living, donned in her brother's armor, an enchanted heirloom forged to aid the family in times of need.

In time she came to Vel Anir, living among a Celestialist convent by day, keeping the armor hidden in the crypt until nightfall, when she would hunt.

When the Dreadlords nearly discovered her, Lilette moved to another convent in Ragash, where she studied at the world-renown Bamiristan to become a doctor.

And perhaps understand her eternal condition.

Two years have passed since then and the vampire has learned much discipline, feeding more often from a patient's blood samples than on criminals in the night. Though still a vigilante and even adventurer, Lilette is known to the common folk as a skilled doctor, and finds herself now in Alliria.

Skilled but still a naive girl, she has already stepped unwittingly into the schemes of it's merchant houses.
