Taliyah has the tall, slender build of her kind. She has long, curly light brown hair and bright blue eyes. Taliyah is easy to pick out from other elves though because her body and face are marred with scars. She has scars that cover her back as well as some on her shoulders. The most prominent is the scar that runs from the corner area of her left eye and crosses over her nose before ending under right eye.

Taliyah did not know anything about her life before she woke up to being sliced open over and over again. Her memory had been magically erased when she was kidnapped by an elf-hating cult. They believed that taking, torturing, and killing elves is what their god wanted them to do.

After she was saved by Prince Arastan Aellevanda and he killed the magician who put the smell on her memory, she eventually recovered her memories.

Taliyah lived on the streets during her childhood and she was taken to the elven fighting pits when she was around twenty years old. She was there for eighty years. She finally saved up enough money to buy her freedom but she was free for a few months before the cult took her. She was tortured for one hundred and thirty eight days before Prince Arastan saved her.

Since being saved and taken to Aellevanda, Taliyah has become the Prince's bodyguard.
