Tall and sturdily built with fair features and a head of silky black hair, Kishou hardly looks the part of a swordsman. On his back is a tattoo of a malevolent deity.

Excellent with a sword, even more so with two.

Kishou's temperament is mercurial. At the best of times, he is mild-mannered and kind. Others, he is mischievous and easily angered.

A mercenary down on his luck, Kishou saw the chance to turn his unfavorable situation around with the arrival of a fleet of Cortosi ships in Alliria. Joining them on their expedition to the island Nagai in hopes to strike a fortune, the journey saw a premature end as disaster struck and the Solar Choir Priestess Amorea Delarosa, a high-ranking member of Cortos' Radiant Church, nobly sacrificed herself to save the lives of the crew present on Nagai's smaller island. In what was nothing short of a miracle, the Priestess was pulled from the island's ashes alive but suffering from the cost of her powerful magic that scorched an entire island.

Since then, Kishou has been by Amore's side, and the two have journeyed all across the world in search of a treatment for her condition.
