Completed Wormhole to Hell

Serene felt the connection with the bloody tendrils cut off entirely, ending her impending nightmare, but still she didn't wake up immediately.

Her body started to enter into a state of shock as she laid on the floor unconscious, finally catching up with the fact she was cut off from both her blood supply and anesthetic. Her chest began to rise up and fall in a frantic motion as blood started to ooze from her open wound once more.

The ribcage had been repaired but her flesh had not, nor her blood had been resupplied.

Without the bloody tendrils there is little time now.

Fear had washed over Diablo as he saw Serene's condition becoming worse by the minute "damnit! I'm Done running!" In a huff Diablo had removed the bone wall that had initially kept them safe. Quickly he stepped out and glanced around the dark cavern, not a soul in sight, nor a sound to be heard "WE ARE HERE YOU USELESS BEAST!"

Diablo had bellowed out and retreated back into the smaller cavern "We are picking a fight now, eh Diablo?" Diablo had glanced back at the now floating Violeta whom had a grin etched on her face as she watched him intently "Yes, you already know that Vio, so why bother asking?" Diablo was more annoyed then he had meant to let on, but he was sure Violeta already knew that.

Quietly Diablo had produced spikes from his hands and feet and scaled the wall of the cavern to the ceiling and sliently waited, hoping that the white monster had taken his bait. Surly enough, Diablo soon heard the giggles and cackles of the now familiar monster that was now quickly closing in on their position.

Seconds passed, then minutes, as the time slowly passed him by panic began to set in while his hope slowly drained away, until the monster came in full view as it bolted into the small cavern.

Instantly Diablo dropped on top of the monster as it screeched and screamed in shock, while diablo had sent bone spikes from multiple spots on his body into the monster, latching himself onto it "SERENE! WAKE UP! IT"S NOW OR NEVER! SERENE! WE HAVE TO END THIS!" He had yelled at the top of his lungs as he was bucked around by the monster, Diablo had yelled once more before the pair had collided into the wall with a loud crash "SERENE!"

Serene's body frantically started to shiver, the bloody roots that had latched deeply into her body reacted to the white monster as it carved its way towards her. The roots slowly exposed themselves then, hued in a purple color through her open wound, they attached severely into her skin now, stretching it out like oversized veins waiting to implode, but they didn't.

They craved for nutrient, their hunger combined with her fasting stomach was the final straw to wake her from the shock she had received. The world was numb, there was little to no sound as Serene slowly crawled to her knees, her left arm still useless, her skin hanging from her flesh around her severe lack of muscle from the same side, her onyx color gone as it had gone pale from blood loss.

She was hurting, and she was angry. She ignored the pain, her emotions getting the better of it all as she cautiously stood up on her feet, her knees bending together from her lack of blood and strength.

Her head tilted to the side and once she managed to look up to Diablo's battle against try white monster she immediately started to drool of hunger.

"SERENE!" the demon called her name. Her eyes were replaced by a purple color as she charged towards the white monster, her hand acting like a claw as she managed to grip the monster by its neck, it helped her close the distance between them as the white monster swinged his arms against her, barely missing her as Diablo's pulled him off balance.

She didn't hesitate, her smile wicked and wide as her tongue savored the white monster's skin. A cackle, similar to the monster escaped her lips before finally she opened her mouth wide and bit the white monster's neck, her teeth tearing through its surprisingly smooth skin.

And there she remained, her eyes closed in bliss as her tongue dribbled on the monsters red blood, moans escaped her throat as she sank her teeth deeper as though she wanted to consume the monster from the inside.

From her lips purple veins parted her skin as they latched on the monsters open wound. From her missing side, purple veins attached to the monster's side, penetrating its skin and seemingly sucking off its blood from his body into her own.

The white monster struggled and screamed, panicked as its claws teared through Serene's back, but to its horror her wounds were closing even as chunks of flesh were sent flying away.

The more it tore through her back the harder it seemed Serene and her set of tendrils sucked his essence away, her side slowly closing off its wound as if the damage had been reversed instead.

She finally pulled away, taking with her half of his neck inside her mouth, gulping it ferociously without chewing before going back in on the same side, hiding half her face inside its neck as she continued to devour him, by now her left arm had recovered as well and grabbed the white monster through one of its screaming mouth, all while Serene cackled with more fervour and passion.

Diablo had watched on as Serene attacked and chewed on the monster with fervor. As soon as she pulled away from the beast Diablo would ignite himself into a raging violet flame, engulfing what was left of the white monster. Loud shrieks, and bloody screams came from it as it slowly burned away, leaving a black charred mound.

Diablos bones had retreated back into his body as he stepped away, the mix between the smell of burned flesh and blood had invaded his senses making him feel hazy. Quickly he stepped out of the small cavern that they were in and sat down on a nearby boulder.

He'd quietly produce his container of smokes and quickly light one before putting the tin away. Taking a deep inhale, and slowly letting out the smoke "It's done Serene, we won." Diablo had lowered his head in exhaustion, while the adrenaline had slowly left his body making him feel less and less coherent "Vio, swap with me, im tired."

Soon afterwards Diablos body stood up and smiled as he finished the smoke and watched Serene intently "So, Serene, whats the next step, we should try and find a way out right?" Diablo's voice had taken a new tone, a more feminine tone. Violeta had been waiting for a moment like this, to finally speak to the elf that Diablo was so found of, whom had distracted Diablo from her, a powerful spirit, for lowly elf.

And this fact alone angered Violeta a bit more than she was willing to admit.

Before she was pushed away by the creature as it was gulfed in flames, both her teeth and tendrils connected to her mouth pulled a chunk full of muscle from the creature's body, giving her more then enough food, for now.

Her color returned to her even as her back recovered from the slashes the creature had torn on her, her eyes absentmindedly focused on the raw meat she was enjoying a mouthful of, both hands holding on to it as if someone would steal from.

Then a strange voice started to come out of Diablo, she didn't stop eating as she looked up to him, a feminine voice seemed to be interrogating her instead of his raspy usual voice.

That meant it wasn't Diablo, and if it ain't Diablo then it can be eaten.

Serene smiled at the prospect of more food and stopped eating the chunk of meat then and there, still remaining on her grip as she stood up on her feet, the injury she had received at the start of their journey gone now too.

In the darkness of the tunnels with no light to shine the way as it had been so before, Serene walked gently towards the one inhabiting Diablo's body, her body completely naked by now as her clothes had been torn apart in their previous encounter. As she moved closer her lips contorted to a wicked smile as the small tendrils crawled inside her skin, ready to latch on at any given moment.

Just a few more seconds and she'd have her next meal of the day, her eyes sparkled at the thought of ripping through the creature now holding Diablo's body as its own.

"You're not him..." she muttered before launching herself at him, her mouth wide open with tendrils swirling into the open from her lips.

A vicous smile grew on Diablo's face as he reached out a single hand , catching Serene by the throat in mid air "I wouldn't do that if i were you little elf." Violeta purred softly as she placed her back down on the ground, yet keeping a stern hold of the elf's throat

"You do know that Diablo is sleeping right? What do you think would happen if i were to say, wake him up right now? Hm?" Violeta had taken this opportunity to quickly slap Serene across the face before continuing "Your precious Diablo would surly have to kill you and thus, making him all mine." Diablos body jumped with glee as Violeta giggled, and just as quickly returned to a deathly straight face, that bore into Serene's eyes.

"He cares for you , deeply, and yet there's nothing I can do to sway him naturally. So If you ever feel like screwing that up, than I will take my opportunity and take him for myself. Its your call. I don't like you, but since I'm bound to Diablo, I have to put up with you. Remember that"

She let out a hearty laugh and sat back down, staring down Serene intently "And don't you worry, he is still sleeping, so he wont know about you trying to eat him of course, and I won't tell him, because, you know, I'm so nice." She grinned and leaned back against the cold cavern wall as she hummed for a brief moment.

"So, as I was saying, how do you purpose we get out of here? I've been locked in a scroll and have no clue which way is up nor down at this point." Violeta shrugged and looked to Serene for an answer. She was in this case, being completely honest. Being stuck in a scroll for however long has had its lasting effects on her, making her much weaker than before. She smiled in thought about this fact.

However, being bound to a demon with an affinity for fire will help her in the long run and she knew that.

Strong, extremely so.

This was the power of a demon just by his physical shape alone, it practically shook her to her core how her skull cracked against the floor she was being bashed against as the woman now using Diablo's body kept ranting on her own.

After she was done, blood poured from her head and Serene laid full arms extended still on the ground. She licked her tendrils as they had managed to suck some of the demon's blood by simply moving to her neck as it was being grabbed on.

It was succulent, the taste of a demon by far the most exquisite thing she had ever had in her life, the memories of food before paled in comparison to it, as she took on this taste her skull had recovered from its injury, allowing her to clear her mind, literally at that.

Moments later the hue of purple in her eyes was gone, diming to a more natural state as the impulse for flesh disappeared, allowing her to question what exactly she had done. She took her mouth on her fingers, the trails of flesh and blood still covering her teeth and tongue altogether. The taste was no different from usual now, all the exquisitness she had sensed before now gone as well.

"What is this...?" she wailed as she sat up against the wall, her hands starting to tremble as they traveled around her wound, remembering what the white monster had done to her, she shouldn't even be alive right now. There was no injury, not even a scar on her skin where she had been eaten by it. Even as she pressed against her ribcage, which should have been torn to pieces, a foreign feeling almost like metal replaced her multiple ribs. Then she looked at her left arm which had been broken beyond salvation, there was no injury left, not even a small ache on her limb as she rotated it without fear of retaliation.

She chuckled out a breath, leaving her mouth wide open in awe a few moments longer before finally taking a deep breath and close her eyes shut, trying to process eveerything that she had felt and seen in the last couple of hours, from the cave in to Diablo being mortally injured, to her being eaten alive, and then a hunger enveloping her.

A hunger so vast, so powerful and endless it almost made her feel like she could swallow the entire world and still not be even remotely satisfied, it was an intimidating feeling to say the least. She tried to feel for that hunger again, to even remotely understand how it worked, but to no avail. Not even the bloody veins she was sure were still inside her body were visible, not even an itch inside her besides the dry blood that now covered her naked skin.

Finally she opened her eyes and looked at Diablo through the darkness of the tunnels. It was definitely him, albeit with a foreign voice occupying it. "... I don't even know who you are" she claimed, her eyes tired as they searched for even a glimpse of her companion inside those empty eyes that now looked at her.

As everything started to sink in, she shuffled to the side as exhaustion finally took over her body, she fell over her shoulder and into a deep and endless slumber, her first actual sleep since their arrival to this forsaken dungeon.

Violeta had paused a moment seeing Serene wail and go on "... I don't even know who you are" She had said then soon after succumbed to slumber. Violeta let out an exaggerated sigh and rolled her eyes "Bloody mortals. So damn dramatic."

She flung her arms in the air before calling out "Diablo, it's time to wake up, your lady friend is being dramatic." Diablo paused a moment. and blinked as he glanced around "Oh, i see what you did there, cheeky bitch." The mental shift was almost seamless, nor did Diablo even feel it happen, it was a strange feeling as if both Vio's mind and his had embraced into a dance of sorts before being pulled back to reality "You know Vio, its going to take me some time before i get used to this mind swapping, its really... Strange"

He spoke softly as he leaned down and wrapped Serene in his red leather coat, it wasn't much since there was a gaping hole in the back of it, but it was better than being naked. Gently he scooped up Serene, being mindful to not wake her and went wandering about, looking for a way out.

As he done so, he began to notice that no one nor anything was around anymore, not that he would think there was, but this time if felt like anything in their vicinity was going out of their way to stay away from them.

"Whats going on Vio?" He questioned quietly to the fiery orb that now was a few meters ahead of them "You're powerful Diablo, and whatever is down here knows it." Violeta giggled and continued "You have me now, along with your friend with whatever power she has attained, power and intimidation are practically oozing from you both. I'm surprised you haven't noticed it yet."

Diablo shrugged and continued on his way. It hadn't occurred to him that he, nor Serene would give off any kind of aura to begin with, but with this new knowledge, it became clearer why he wasn't running into anything and it was quite quiet as well, almost unsettling to say the least.

After their last encounter and the last few events of their personal nightmare, quiet and silence seemed too good to be true. While he thought to himself, he came across a small stair case that led up, and with no other direction that seemed promising he righted himself and silently climbed the stairs.

Once her reached that top of the staircase, he was surprised to have found himself back in the dungeon that Serene and him were in previously. Letting out a small sigh he started off, Wandering around with no real direction.

Soon after however, a new thought had occurred to him "We have no real need to leave right away, right Vio?" Violeta had shifted back to a humanoid form and as she floated in front of him, crossing her arms in thought "Not necessarily no. But you both need to eat and sleep thats for sure." Diablo had nodded in agreement and continued on his way through the maze of hallways.

After half an hour Diablo came to a empty room that seemed was a bedroom once upon a time, nothing grand mind you, but yet something to sleep on. "We can take a break here, god knows we could all use the sleep." Diablo waited for a witty remark, but nothing came from Violeta. "It would seem she is asleep for once."

He chuckled to himself as he gently set Serene down in the bed and taking the spot next to her. He then took his jacket to cover the two of them as a makeshift blanket, and after a few short moments he quickly fell into a deep slumber.

Serene grimaced, her dreams a mix of both good and bad memories, then the nightmareish vision of the tendrils consuming, but this time it went different. The tendrils surrounded her, they passively laid across her feet, connected to her very being. With every shift of movement she did with her hands or head, the tendrils moved accordingly. It was a strange dream for sure but before she could find out more the dream woke her up.

To her surprise she was no longer on the floor but on an attempt of a bed, Diablo's arm had reached out to her, keeping her tight against his chest.

Serene looked down to it, it was a glorious chest for sure. She chuckled at her own thoughts and cuddled in more comfortably, his touch wasn't unwelcomed unlike the rest of the people that had tried to get near her before.

His arm wrapped around her back was not full of ill intent, rather of care and even fear with how her muscles shifting made his fingers twitch.

It was a solemn, calm moment she made sure to cherish, her face pressing against his shoulder, taking his body odor in.

Out of nowhere, her mouth got watery, her stomach clenched of hunger. Her eyes shifted away from him to her body, still covered in dry blood. From inside her skin the tendrils crawled around, an instinct to consume nearly overwhelmed her as her hands tried to reach over his neck, her teeth ready to rip his life out of it as she got bearer, but she refused.

She feared this hunger hurting him, so instead she bit one of her knuckles to the point it bled in her mouth, her breathing intensifying as she struggled to control this unnatural hunger with Diablo being so close to her.

Eventually she got it right and the tendrils moving all across her body receded, giving her piece of mind. By then she had torn through her skin multiple times all across her hands, her eyes just absentmindedly watching back to Diablo who still rested peacefully as her hands bled.

It hurt, it hurt so much but it was worth seeing him alive still.

She was just starting to close her eyes to try and sleep once more when the ground around them quaked, the walls holding on the weight of the dungeon fortunately.

"W-Wake up, Diablo!" she shook him out of his slumber, her eyes still on the roof above as it sounded like it was coming down on them any second, but it didn't.

She got up first and moved away from him, her feet ready by now to run from danger if needed. All she could listen to was how a multitude of things fell on the floor above them, then the dungeon shook again for a more seconds longer before stopping entirely, as if it was finished doing whatever it was doing.

Her mind raced with a multitude of ideas if what could have been, but one memory stuck out to her the most where the ground sounded the exact same as now.

The time they fell into the dungeon.

"Diablo..." she turned to look at him, as if looking for some answer from him.

"W-Wake up, Diablo!"

Diablo had shot straight up, bleary eyed and groggy from the abrupt awakening that Serene had given him "Have we been out for long, Serene?" The words that came out seemed garbled and double toned, which only led to further confusion for him as he blinked again, allowing the world around him to finally come into focus "That was weird." He stated to no one in particular.

He glanced around for a moment, looking for any danger in their area, while his ears perked up to the sound of the quaking that went on, and just as suddenly had finished, leaving them sitting in an unnerving silence.

"Diablo..."

His attention was redirected back to Serene whom showed a growing concern because of the quakes. He slowly stood up and stretched, taking a few steps towards Serene "Quaking is natural Serene, considering the hole that had been made previously, we were unfortunately in the wrong spot at the wrong time. The earth is just settling, nothing to be alarmed about lass."

He had let out a small yawn and taken Serene's hand, Gently leading her back to the bed. "For the time being we are okay, we need to get as much rest as we can, come now, you must bed tired, right?" He had climbed back into the bed and quietly patting the spot next to him, before easing back down onto his side.

"Because I don't know about you Serene, but I'm insanely tired.." His sentence had trailed off as he closed his eyes again to try and sleep for a little longer.

Tempting, surprisingly so.

She leaned in front of him and nearly laid next to him again, but her curiosity got the better of her. Her hand moved to his face, gently caressing his features before deftly going outside in a throttle, her feet taking her surprisingly light body to the other side of the hallway, her hand stretching to the wall she stopped on, it was dry and lacking any moisture or vegetative life in it, very much like the floor they had been before.

Without much more to look at, her eyes looked for the next possible exit, she found the stairs that took to the lower floor, but seemingly as the scent of Diablo lingered from them she just assumed that's where they had come from. She ran to the opposite side until she found the right stairs that took to the next floor, her feet practically jumping as to avoid making any noise the closer she reached the next floor.

Gently she looked over to the room the stairs connected to, a small group of what seemed to be knights laid on the floor, grunting and most likely hurt or worse from the fall. The darkness in the room made it easy for her to come closer, keeping her posture to a crouch so as to reduce her chances of being caught.

Their grunts continued, and even one of them seemed to shift on his armor, but Serene didn't have the time for that. She knew well Diablo wasn't tired just because of what hey had gone through, he was starving, it showed on his body as he laid next to her, his bones more visible than the last time she had seen him.

She rummaged through their belongings but found nothing, then moved to the remains of what used to be a transportation vehicle, probably a cart. It buried a couple under the debris but she too ignored that. Her eyes were on their supplies and luckily for her they had plenty. Close by a barrel had survived the fall as it stood at the top of the rest, its contents included fruits of multiple kinds.

She looked around and picked a nearby sack, filling it to the brim with the barrel's contents. She got greedier as the people around her didn't seem to have to strength to get up. Quickly then she took another sack and looked around the debris, luckily for her there were both dry meat and fish in multiple quantities, she picked them systematically, slowly filling the second sack as well.

She was happy with her new prizes, until she heard the shuffling of metal coming closer to bee.

"You, are you with us? Are you part of our group?" the voice asked, through the dark it didn't seem like he could see, but fortunately for her she could. The knight had his arm on the sheet of his sword, ready for combat.

Serene chuckled as she saw him stumble through his people, making him stagger and fall on his knees. She took this chance to sprint away, both sacks in hand as she made her way to the stairway she had come from.

"Wait...!" she heard the man call out but she was already halfway down the stairway and soon back with the man that she had left hanging in bed. As she approached the room and watched him still asleep, she smiled.

She placed the sacks next to the bed and then gently fell on the bed next to him, finally content with resting now that her companion would be alright. She closed her eyes and slowly allowed the sleep to overtake her.

Diablo had slowly roused from his slumber, not moving, he would blink and yawn. He'd notice that Serene was sound asleep against his bare chest, a most welcome warmth radiated off her as she slept next to him, it had been far to long that he had felt this kind of warmth, and yet another realization had come over him as she was just as bare as his chest was.

A nervous chuckle had escaped his lips as he glanced at her figure, while the waterfall scene played in his head from his previous encounter of seeing her body. Smiling to himself he would quietly slink out of the bed and cover her back up with his jacket.

He stretched and let out a sigh of relief, the sleep had helped tremendously yet something was missing "Glurggggg" The sound that came from his stomach almost made him laugh as his gaze had caught sight of two sacks that were against the bed, his brow furrowed in confusion as he reached for the bags, to be met with a pleasant surprise of food.

Almost instantly his hands moved on their own and begun shoveling different fruits and meats into his mouth, as if he could eat the entire thing. Quickly he stopped himself, to give himself enough time to swallow and breathe before inhaling more food.

Soon after, he had finished and sat down feeling great at this point. Fed, Slept and no monsters to boot! This day is looking up he thought to himself "Thank god, I was wondering when we'd get to eat." Violeta had appeared before him looking healthier than before and a wicked grin plastered across her face "I've been starving Diablo. Starving!" Her arms flung up with exasperation.

"You do understand you must eat for the both of us right? I cant grow in power if you don't feed me demon boy. Such a mean master." Violeta purred teasingly. Diablo had rolled his eyes and wiped his mouth of the crumbs that stuck to his face "If I can survive, then so can you Vio." Diablo retorted and closed up the bag, afterwards he paced about the room keeping a keen eye out for anything to be amiss, yet his ears had perked up to the sound of multiple foot falls and metal.

Quickly Diablo went to the left the room and quietly closed the door, producing bone needles from his hands and crouching down, as he waited his bone needles had become infused with flame, lighting up the corridor before him.

Shortly after came a small group of knights from down the hallway "Stop where you are, you come no further mortal." Diablo snarled out at the group. "If its a fight you want, It's a fight you'll get scum."

Again, the sound of metal shifting against itself.

It woke her up almost immediately, her eyes darting around to look for her man. His voice echoed across the rooms, he was threatening someone. She swinged off the bed, leaving the jacket behind, not minding her lack of clothing whatsoever anymore.

Standing behind Diablo she spotted the same knight, followed by a group similarly clothed than he, though clearly he was the most high ranked of the bunch as his armor was better adorned than those behind him. She growled as she remained on her feet, not taking her eyes away from the men now looking her over while Diablo hid in the shadows, blending away perfectly with the darkness that still swallowed some of the room.

"You're the thief! You foul drow, shouldn't expect anything else from them! Where is the one that threatened us?!" one of the knights grouped behind scowled at her, she snarled in return. There was no fear in her for him, he was a nobody.

She stopped for a second then, rubbing a side of her face with the palm of her hand, confused as to why she thought a knight in armor, a man trained for combat most likely peak fighting fitness, felt like a weakling to her eyes. The knight in the adorned armor however stepped closer to her, clearly not thinking of her as a threat.

"You must have been afraid, right?"
the knight reached out to her, his hand getting dangerously close to her face. Any notion of confusion left her mind as this man thought of her weak against him. Her eyebrows frowned and her body started to twitch of anger, she didn't have an ounce of sympathy for the men looking down on her, looking down on her Diablo.

And so, she responded in kind. Her face quickly turned on the man's hand and, with her mouth turned into tendrils, she managed to chop three fingers off the man's hand before jumping back into the darkness, knowing not even torches can light the way to the mist that controls the floors deeper into the dungeon.

The knight screamed as he took his bloodied hand and struggled to stop the bleeding while the rest of them didn't wait out for his orders, they charged into the darkness, surprisingly skipping Diablo and Serene entirely as they hadn't gone that far into the place. "Coward, come out here and fight!" the knights taunted out in the darkness.

She couldn't help but let out a cackle like the white monster as the men swinged into the nothing, hoping to catch either her or Diablo in the dark. Serene didn't wait for Diablo's signal and picked one of the knights that had stumbled behind, dragging him alongside her into the darkness, his screams for help echoing in the mist as Serene's lips were already attached in his neck, then with a swift motion ripped his neck apart, his gargles the last his companions were able to hear of him before it all fell into silence again.

A delicious first bite, her eyes glowing in a purple hue once more.

"You sow! Show yourself!" four knights remained.

Without warning Diablo had lunged at the wounded knight, piercing his leg with his bone needle only to be met with a solid smash to his face from the knights gauntlet. Staggering back Diablo had reinforced his body with bone as he leaped yet again, connecting a deft blow to the knights shoulder and quickly dashing back out of range.

Silently the pair circled each other, the knight took a tight grip of his sword as he took a decisive step forward and slashed at Diablo. He took the blow against his left arm pushing him down to one knee while his right arm shifted from a needle to a blade, swinging hard against the knights leg, swiftly knocking him down on his back.

Quickly Diablo leaped atop of the knight and begun stabbing him endlessly until, a brief moment that had shifted Diablo away from the knight, and fire begun engulfing him. A grin spread across Diablos face as he felt the power welling up inside him, allowing the knight time to get up, yet the attack had left him staggering "You will die here demon!" The knight had spat out at Diablo in a fit of anger "No, you first mortal Scum."

Diablo had let out a outstretched hand, as a small ball of fire had shot from his hand, hitting the knight and effectively knocking him back on the ground. All that could be heard was the shrill screams of the knight as the fire was cooking him within his metal armor.

Leaving the knight to his fate, Diablo had shifted his attention to the group going after Serene. Quickly he bounded across the hallway and slammed into the closest knight to him, sending the armored man flying into the wall, and only two sounds followed. The knight hitting the wall, then the floor.

Diablos grin grew wider as he watched Serene fight with an incredible ferocity of her own, she was becoming a formidable fighter, and he was enjoying the show.

Another chunk of flesh taken and down her throat it had gone. She couldn't even begin to understand why she was able to do that or even why the taste of raw flesh from a fresh prey was an extremely delicious delight to her. There was another time and place for this however.

Her ears twitched at the sound of metal shifting into motion, another swing was coming right at her, but she didn't bother to move away from it as it immediately impacted against a nearby wall, keeping her out of danger.

Their anger started to waver as their numbers decreased, the nearby fire made of the remains of their knight captain enough to make them question their own actions now.

"Y-You will all die!" One of the two remaining knights cried with little confidence in his voice, clearly about to crumble under the pressure of impending death.

What was unexpecting for Serene was how much she was enjoying his whimpering voice. She turned to face them, the two remaining knights back to back, slowly making their way back to their knight captain.

Serene cackled, her tone similar to the white monster. The knights tried to scream back at her slurs and empty threats, swinging their sword again and again against the brick wall.

She saw Diablo taking position, ready to take on the one opposite of her, she looked at him and smiled, clearly a man that had her best interests in mind.

Then she refocused and waited for the time the knight swung his sword downward to charge towards him, her naked arm swinging against the knight's armor, completely slamming her forearm against his chest.

It hurt to do it, to use her limb to hurt metal, but it succeeded. There was a viceral joy in seeing the man's body flying to the other side of the room, his face crashing first against the brick wall, breaking his neck as a result.

She waited for Diablo to finish the last knight who's morale had finally crumbled to pieces, crying out in horror for everyone nearby to listen to until his life was extinguished as well.

It was over, Serene didn't wait a moment longer, she returned to the corpse she had been taking chunks of and continued feasting on his flesh, his body still twitching as she finally managed to rip his head off his neck.

Diablo had nodded at Serene with a wicked grin across his face, he would have no issue handling the rest while she ate, it seemed to him that her hunger was insatiable at best, god only knows what it would be like at the worst of times.

As she went back to feasting upon the previous knight that she fought, Diablo shrugged, glancing down as his gaze had locked on the now whining and whimpering knight below him. Slowly he would crouch down so he was level with the knight "You want to know something mortal? My friend over there, is having one grand feast with your knight buddy." He laughed and gave the knight a toothy grin "If you ask me, its kinda hot." The knight spat in his face with a disgusted look that etched on his face "You're a monster! And that drow sow! I-"

As the knight was about to scream some other profanity, Diablo shoved his bone needle through his mouth and out the back of his head, slowly standing and swinging his arm, allowing the knight to loosly slide off his arm and onto the floor with a wet splat, blood slowly dripping from his needle as he chuckled to himself.

"Doesnt matter what you think, you're dead." Diablo nodded at the dead knight and returned his gaze towards Serene "Once you've had your fill Serene, we're looting these fucks and leaving." It didn't take long for Diablo to pile up the bodies and begin sorting through them.

Among the bodies was a plethora of rations, wineskins, armor, and weapons for the two to pick and choose what they wanted. Mind you, Diablo was never fond of armor in the least, it made him to loud so he left it in the pile and stuffed the wineskins and rations into one of the sacks that he found beside the bed.

Once he had finished up Diablo would quietly walk over to Serene. stopping next to her, as he reached out an outstretched hand down to her and smiling "Coming Serene?"

Serene who was on her knees, jumped like a startled cat, landing on her feet, the last chunk of the man's upper body still in her grasp. She looked up to him and nodded, taking the last mouthful fbefore finally standing up, leaving the upper half practically bones as she had suckled and chewed through them to get to the last bit of meat available, the tendrils helping where her mouth and teeth weren't able to reach.

She coughed a bit, bumping her chest as to help her body swallow, a big childish frown on her face before it finally sank in. She sighed in relief then went back to Diablo, watching the knights' belongings lined up like in a market, waiting for her appraisal.

Clicking her tongue from one side to another, she came to notice an elf among the pile of corpses, it was clear by the necklace in front of her, jade craftsmanship imbued with magic, or at least it was.

While the shoulders still wider than hers, thankfully almost everything he used to wear was practically the same size of hers. There were a few differences however as she wore a black pair of loose blouse and pants, tying this one with a layer of belts that would allow her to bring further loot with her.

It came no surprise her waist was thinner yet her hips had a trouble fitting in her new set of clothes, her rear a notable difference as it stretched the fabric gently backwards. Her chest, while bountiful, still had room for comfort, her cleavage just barely coming visible in the v-line blouse, she didn't bother with underwear for now as she was still drenched with both fresh and dry blood combined, tinting the black garments red up on front, like a stain that gave her clothing her own unique branding.

She looked at herself and chuckled happily, she had never had to wear clothes so light, much less revealing or so free for her own personal use, even her underwear was once the property of someone else.

But those times were over, she was going to make sure of that, this a promise she made to herself as her hands went to weapons. This was a much simpler choice as she had never been taught to use them beyond her childhood, the only choice she could make for now were two small daggers, curved and teethed on their thicker side, taking their leather, bloodied holsters with her.

Once she was done, she looked back at Diablo and admired the seriousness and cockiness that this demon portraited at all times, even when they had been on the brink of death multiple times now. Even if his plan was to leave her eventually, his words still aching like the first time, she was now more willing to see the demon live his own life. He was a grandeur entity, not bound by chains or fate.

"You're gorgeous..." the words escaped her mouth, her hands immediately going to her lips, her eyes diverting to the side as if trying to hide back into the mist in shame. "W-We better get going, there's more people for sure."

"She wants you Diablo." Violeta purred softly in his ear, making a shiver shoot up his spine and a twitch of his ear. Violeta would casually drape herself over Diablos shoulders as a wicked grin played across her face "So what do you plan to do? Hm? I wouldn't suggest ignoring her, that's just rude."

Diablo had rolled his eyes in response to Violeta's comment and turned to face Serene as he caught her watching him "You're gorgeous..." He certainly wasn't hearing things, nor was he dreaming, she had definitely just called him gorgeous.

For a mere moment Diablos jaw went slack as he stared at Serene, yet quickly regained his composure and shifted his gaze before clearing his throat "I told you!" Violeta beamed at Diablo "Now's your chance! Claim her!" Violeta had said in sheer glee, cackling away at the scene playing before her, and yet Diablo was very relieved that Serene couldn't hear her and her horrid commentary.

Slowly Diablo walked up to Serene, leaning down where his head almost rested on her shoulder "Well, I think you're gorgeous too, Serene." He hissed hotly in her ear and placed a small kiss on her cheek, before stepping away, winking, and finally walking away.

He'd pick up the pair of bags that were a few paces away and continue on his way, absentmindedly whistling to himself as he began to wander off, in search of the stairs up. It wasn't long afterwards that he would come across the stone set of stairs that lead up to the next level up, familiar smells came from the staircase, confirming that this was indeed the floor they were on a few days prior.

Diablos soft boots quietly sliding to a stop just in front of the doorway as he waited for Serene, whom he figured was stunned by his little stunt that he pulled. You still got it he thought to himself while he chuckled lightly to himself. Thinking on it, Serene is a stunning woman to say the least, and she thought he was gorgeous. The thought alone made Diablos ears burn and his face flush.

Quickly he shook his head "We're still in a dungeon. We're still in a dungeon." He spoke softly, yet the grin Diablo had, was still plastered to his face and showed no signs of going away soon.

Serene followed almost like a zombie around Diablo, her eyes widened, her ears down to her shoulder. A mood and a look not fitting a dark elf, then again she was never a proper dark elf in the first place.

So maybe letting her guard down a bit like this was fine now and then.

The world had been cruel to both of them throughout most of their life, and these few minutes of peace were given to them and them alone. The setting was not romantic, the environment screamed for the loss of their minds, and perhaps that's what happened. It'd explain why she allowed a sheepish smile across her face despite their current predicament, kicking away through the puddles of blood.

As she turned to the upper floor, looking down as to give Diablo's rear some privacy, not that she hadn't seen those thick buns before, her eyes turned once more to the crates and debris left by the company that had fallen by the stairway, albeit without knights too be seen anywhere.

"Do you think this place is like a trap, taking anyone that falls on top of it?" her comment was both for Diablo but mostly to herself, her hands following on the patterns around the roof, looking for any sign of it breaking wide open, but there was nothing. Then she crouched down next to the debris, her still naked feet kicking through what seemed to be a make-shift fire camp, the coal was wet and cold by the environment, a pot and its contents had bounced off into one of the nearby hallways, making a mess of its floor entirely.

She scoffed as her hands scrambled through the debris, crouching down to her knees to get herself more comfortable. She ignored the food for now and focused on finding any form of footwear she could actually comfortably wear. She didn't want to make the same mistake and hurt her feet again, but unfortunately she found nothing, as expected.

"Why do they all have to be men..."
Serene complained, her fingers trailing through her thick, bloodied hair, not once caring for taking a bath or cleaning it up unlike before. She stood up and took some water trailing from the walls, then wiped her mouth dry with her hand, her manners more animalistic than she herself seems to take notice of.

She looked back at Diablo and pondered, wondering if she was the only one who didn't seem to be in a hurry for leaving this dungeon like the first time.

Once Diablo reached the top of the stairs he paused, his gaze had glanced between the empty hallway that laid before him then back to Serene "What am I doing?" The inquiry wasn't directed to any one person per se, yet the question came as a surprise for Diablo. He had spent this whole time trying to leave the dungeon, yet now it seemed that the further he got, the slower he became, and the less motivation he had.

With that train of thought came the forgotten fact that he still had a bounty on his head, and yet again be forced into a life of running. Furrowing his brow, Diablo stepped into the hallway and taken a few paces before turning to Serene "I've had a change in plans. If you've the room, would you care for some company for a while l - UGH"

Diablo felt like a boulder had smashed him in the side, sending him flying out of vision. Quickly clearing his bleary eyes, Diablo noticed he was being grabbed by two heavily armored knights and were running away with him "RUN! that's our meal ticket! we'll take care of this lil' number!"

Another knight had yelled, whom had taken place at the head of the stairs, as more entered to support him. In a ravage ferocity, Diablo had managed to wretch his arms free from his captors before head butting one knight, smashing his helmet into his skull.

The knight, frozen and screaming in pain as Diablo doubled back and stood his ground. It wasn't often that he'd get caught off guard like that, and yet here he was, the hallway to Serene cut off by a plethora of knights, and with more mercs coming for his bounty. It had seemed that this was going to be his life forever. Diablos bones shifted quickly, turning his arms into large spiked gauntlets as he sighed "Am I ever going to be safe from the lot of you."

Serene almost panicked, and with good reason, suddenly the grunts of Diablo and his sudden disappearance from her sight scared her, she couldn't help but screaming for his name.

"Diablo!" she yelled out, wanting to chase behind him but had to stop at the sight of two knights in front of her. She was furious, they dared give chase to him and detain her as they bragged of their catch, both of him and her. This was the first time she ever wore revealing clothes and already she could feel the eyes of men leering in front of her, but this also had an advantage she did not forsee.

The knights lowered their weapons and the grins on their face widened, they were seemingly desperate for any form of release from the stress of being in the dungeon.

Amateurs.

She allowed them to step closer, their hands immediately sheething their weapons as they tried to reach for her, their eyes never leaving her luscious breasts. Perhaps this was the better way to deal things, a gloom clouded her judgement as the past started to crawl back on her, but it was only for a moment this affected her, and so was it for them.

Once her appearance was lit under their torches, they came to see her ragged, bloodied skin and hair, her tired eyes and dry lips, there was little care for her body in contrast to her race.

"Disgusting, this one is practically for the beggars! Why don't we just---" one of the knight's remarks was cut short as her hand quickly found its way into his mouth and forcing itself down his throat, his jaw snapped from its position and his teeth bloodied her skin as she took a hold of the man's throat from the inside and pulled it out from his unjinged jaw.

It was a satisfying, bloody scene as the man's body pumped blood out into the sky, covering her further in it as he slowly fell on to the floor, the other knight watched in terror and then pulled his sword, but it was already late by the time he managed to get both hands on his sword.

Serene's face had turned to an evil glare, filled with both excitement and remorse. Her moment of weakness fueling her anger against herself and the ones giving chase. She did a quicker job of the other knight, taking hold of his neck and giving it a tight squeeze, making his eyes and tongue to inflate as they overflowed with blood and pressure until he popped like a makeshift balloon, staining his helmet from the inside.

There was no time, Diablo was strong but still she worried. She kicked the knight away, ignoring the hunger her body insisted she satiated. There were more important things than herself, for now.

She ran to where Diablo's cocky mockery echoed from, and though she had still some ground to cover as they had been surprisingly efficient on the matter, she stopped. Serene held her breath, arched her back forward and let out a cry out of despair and anger, the air around the hallway she aimed to trembled, signaling her destination of her arrival.

Serene's Quick intervention, making the knights turn their heads toward her, gave Diablo enough time to clear the distance between him and the knights. His left gauntlet flew into the gut of the one closest to him, Diablo watched as he double over as the air in his lungs escaped him, Diablo immediately lunged at the next knight, giving them no room for error.

The knight however, was ready and parried the blow of his right gauntlet, as the knights sword twisted around, arced and finally dug into Diablos shoulder, grunting Diablos body had erupted into flame, melting the sword to its hilt, burning the hand that held it.

The knight giving a quick yelp as he dropped the bladeless hilt and yelled yet again as his face was met with a bone gauntlet. While the knight slowly crumpled to the cold dungeon floor, the last two would become hesitant, fearful even, Diablo noticed this shift in moral and gave them a wicked grin, followed by a quick flinch at the pair.

The knights flinched away and quickly turned tail to run, not giving Serene a second glance. Quickly Diablos bones shifted into daggers as he quietly lined up the shot and threw them harshly towards the fleeing enemy. Moments passed and all could be heard from down the hall was a pair of yelps and then the loud clattering of metal against stone.

Diablo grunted and chuckled as he leaned against the wall, feeling his arm becoming hot and wet, his left hand quickly reached up to cup his shoulder, as he felt around he noticed that it wasn't too deep of a cut, yet he was losing a fair amount of blood, slowly his bone covered up the wound as he removed his jacket in a huff "Look at all that blood."

He let out an exasperated sigh and rolled his eyes "And now a rip in the jacket to match the bloody hole! This thing is pretty much done now." he stated to no one in particular as he tossed the haggard jacket aside and dragged the body closest to him back down the hall.

Once he was done gathering the bodies, Diablo would take a quick check and take all the rations and stuff them into the bag, along with the rest that has been recovered over the last few hours. "That was eventful eh lass?" he nodded at Serene as he gave a wink and chuckled "Just cant get them off me it seems."

She had been lucky, he had been lucky. Their guard was completely down, their senses numb and quiet.

Because they had thought of her weak, she had prevailed. Because she had distracted the knights in front of Diablo, he had prevailed. They were more aware than the first time, clearly the disappearance of their knight captain was a sign they were perhaps a bigger threat. With this second group now gone, the third one was perhaps going to be even a tougher fight as the knights would most likely go all out on them, even now they were still sending amateurs.

Serene listened to Diablo's banter, how he tossed his precious jacket to the side, now rags on the floor, how his blood gently oozed down his carapace bone, his eyes sad and seemingly lonely. She approached him at first then stop, mere meters from him.

From behind him a cage laid bare, it shines with magic fouler than what the demons were cursed to posses. The runes written in its metal glowed with magic, even the environment around it seemed to cancel the dark mist they had been coated in until now.

Then she turned her head to her left, and watched the room where it all began. The broken cage and the torn rock still laid on top of a small hill of rock and grass, the light that once shone on top of it was nowhere to be found.

They had made it back to where they first fell into, and things nearly turned worse for them both, Diablo truly didn't look like he could escape his fate of being stuck inside a cagea prize for a rich noble to brag about, an experiment for a maniacal magician, a gladiator for the sport and glee of the masses in the cities.

It all fell disgusting as a foul taste filled her mouth. She turned to him once more and closed the gap between her bodies. She didn't ask for permission, she wouldn't blame him if he pushed her away her arms found their way around his back, her fingers trailing his bones connected to his neck.

She held him tight, burying his head against her shoulder and chest.

"Don't look..." Serene whispered on his ear, her voice cracking as an overwhelming sadness overtook all the courage she had been gathering up to this moment. Slowly, without letting go of him, she walked backwards, pushing the corpses away, dragging Diablo with her until the cage he was going to be sent in dissapeared back into the black mist.

Then, she held on.

Diablo was caught off guard by Serenes body language and actions, He had always shrugged off the fact that as a demon he would always be hated wherever he went. And the world practically wanted him in a cage for one reason or another, with no real consideration for what he wanted.

Yet here stood Serene, a woman he had only met by chance, now embracing him with a warmth he had never felt before.

"Don't look..." was all she said, and yet those two words spoke worlds more than any bar wench could spit out, and knew without needing to see for himself, that yet another cage had been made for him.

Quietly he nodded, letting the bottled up emotions wash over him while his arms had lifted her up and closer against his bare chest, her tight embrace was welcomed, and somehow felt right. Tears slowly welled in his eyes as he silently walked away, placing a kiss on her neck.

"No more cages.." Was all Diablo had said. And he meant it, as long as he had Serene, he felt he had something to live for. Quietly Diablo picked up the bags as he continued on, following his trail back down deeper into the dungeon until the pair completely disappeared into the black mist.

Carefully Diablo descended the stairs to the lower floor, keeping a tight hold of Serene as he did, until finally reaching the room they had last left, it was a sure spot to rest for the time being, allowing his shoulder wound to heal would benefit him greatly. As he reached the makeshift bed, Diablo would slowly ease Serene down onto it, as a genuine smile grew on his face.

"Thank you Serene." His tone was soft as he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers, with a spark that shot through his entire body in reaction to hers, making him feel alive, with Serene being the only woman he has ever kissed, the experience itself was overwhelming.

Yet his primitive demon side tugged for him to steal yet another, however the next had lingered longer before he pulled back to admire the woman underneath him, her stunning beauty had always caught him off guard, yet he could never explain why. He quietly pondered this thought while his ears had yet against began burning and twitching.

Serene was covered in blood, she was dirty, most definitely smelling in the most foul of places, she was the last woman perhaps someone would try to get their hands on so long as she was filled with this filth. And yet, here a demon, her Diablo, kissed her like she was the best choice in the world. Whether it was out of pity or genuine love for her she dared not think of it, as she feared the answer.

Her ears fell flat down on her neck, her eyes widened and a soft moan escaped her in the last kiss, his eyes seemed to also be looking for an answer, and she did not know how to give it. Her hands went over to his neck, sinking her fingers across his hair, bringing him back for another kiss, this one started by her, she had to wet her lips at the last second and then dared to use it to wet his, spreading them open for her to claim and savour. He had a succulent taste to him, she wanted to devour him entirely...

She shook her head and pulled away from the bed entirely, crawling out of the room as the tendrils started to crawl all over the body. She had noticed it since before, the roots of these things had gotten deeper and stronger into her, at first they were only around her lips and open wounds, now they felt as though they'd burst from her very skin and tear her apart.

They were hungry and they were begging her to go back in that room and let them have their way with him. She shuddered and pressed her head against a nearby wall, the tendrils crawling across her skin more vividly, like limbs that cried out for release. Serene whimpered as she took her arms around her body and squeezed, her eyes turning a pitcher black than before, and even those felt foreigner to her, no longer sparkling their purple hue.

As she let out a breath, a growl escaped her, foreign and abysmal, fighting for control over her own body as the tendrils continued to get more restless. "I won't... let you hurt him. I won't let you, I won't let you..." she muttered to her reflection over one of the water supplies they had brought, almost feeling as though something else was staring back at her, and then it was gone.

The tendrils seized their attempts to control her, her stomach stopped clutching itself to the point it bent her forward, her body was once more her own. Serene dropped to her side, exhausted and trembling as tears rolled out of her eyes, until finally she allowed sleep claim her.
