    The portal stones, reliable for thousands of years, recently sent travellers to locations across the world.

    They appear to be working as normal, but the whispers in the void between locations have grown louder. Even those without magical talent can hear them.

There is a hooded figure, stalking the woods. The dense forests shroud her from truly being discovered. Vague reports rumour of finding arrows of thorns, and roots sprouting in the stranger's wake. Wild animals flock whenever she appears beyond the thickengg
