"What the- WHO LET THE VAMPIRIC RATS ESCAPE AGAIN?" Bellowed a familiar female voice.
Ana squeaked and pulled herself on top of the kitchen counter, careless to the bowls and glass jars she sent smashing loudly to the floor. Despite being debately the strongest anti-magic user in the compound, the woman did nothing magical to stop the feral, blood-crazed rats from trying to jump up and feast on her flesh.
This was mostly because the Templars had recently begun to conclude from their research that the vampire curse was indeed not magical. No amount of their unique form of anti-magic, the ability to stop magic from happening with a simple touch, had an effect on their vampire rat test subjects.
But also, because she was deathly afraid of rats.
She wasn't going to touch them.
"Saaaaaul!" She screamed out, the fierce templar warrior reduced to squeaks of fear as the two rats took turns rabidly trying to jump up with unearthly, rat strength.
