Normally Clementine didn’t really like being inside buildings as big as these, they made her feel a little claustrophobic. Even though she’d lived in Elbion for quite some years now, she had not once seen it as her permanent home. Libraries, like the one she found herself in now, felt daunting; so much organic material, so little life. But even Clem could admit their usefulness, which was the whole reason she was here.

Lately she had witnessed multiple unnatural occurrences, and she was on a mission to learn more about them. Disrupted leylines, undead roaming the lands.. Her responsibility to fix, and she needed to know more to make a difference on a bigger scale.

So here she was, in Elbion’s college library, trying to find rare literature about dark magic. She had been here for hours already, fluttering around, attracting some attentions from the college’s students who had probably never seen a pixie before. She ignored them, having no time for any distractions. Clem had claimed a table which became something like a stockpile for books, as she grabbed every tome that looked somewhat relevant. Luckily for the small pixie she could summon wind, so that it could carry the books as large as herself for her.

Quicksilver eyes shimmered among fixtures of arcane light that entranced with whimsical peculiarity and nostalgia alike.

Unlike mother and father's library however, nor the Bamaristan, the young maiden dressed in clerical garb found no trouble acquiring books with bloated academic titles such as "Ser Gregory's lost expeditions: an account of monsters & Malakath", or "Compendium Monstrum, By Exarchsaes of Phorasmos", which she dared not pronounce without a human dictionary, located of course, in another section entirely.

Last but certainly not least, she took in her pale little hands a book of magical conditions and curses.

This took her into a section for Dark Magic, where the girl tiredly sat her books at the nearest unoccupied table, stuffing her freckled nose into the newest book from her stack.

Completely oblivious to the small, winged creature on the other side of her books.
