Elasha smiled a sad smile. This was a sudden change, and she knew it had flipped Raea's world upside down. But the only thing to be done about it was pick up the pieces and move on. Elasha knew how to do that all too well.

"I don't know the why, my dear, but as for the how- whoever did this to you had to have been very powerful. To not only glamour you so completely from human detection but also from your own detection- your memory was likely wiped and your magic deeply suppressed," she paused, her green eyes searching Raea's eyes.

"If you want to stay here, you are more than welcome to. My son and I can help you,"

Thallan would likely not like his mother handing out their help for free and Elasha knew that but she did it anyway. She was his mother after all, not the other way around.

"But what about my parents?" It was a joke of a question to even ask it. She had left without saying much of anything. They had been suffocating her with their protectiveness, keeping her sequestered from the world. She had always assumed it had been out of love and a desire to be near her until she died from whatever it was that ailed her.

And now she wasn't as certain as she had been.

She clutched at her head, a note of panic in her voice when next she spoke. "I...I don't even know what to say, what to think," she said in a rush. Just as quick, she knew she was going to be ill, violently ill. She sat up, world spinning, and frantically looked for the lavatory. "Can't... urk!"

She bolted, and barely made it in time.

Elasha did not say anything. She did not have to. Raea was working through it all herself, and Elasha had already said what she could.

Raea got up quickly and Elasha was by her side, as the younger girl made it to the toilet in time to be sick. The smell was strong but Elasha did not mind it. As Raea knelt over the toilet, Elasha held her hair back, kneeling as well by her side.

"Don't worry about that now, you are already in a weak enough condition," she said softly. "It is good you know, but now what you do with it is in your hands."
