Raea Stormcrow
Born as Elena Smithson, daughter to a wealthy Allirian merchant, this erstwhile adventuress - who goes by the assumed moniker of Raea Stormcrow - has ventured forth into the world in search of one last adventure.
Stricken by a mysterious illness that has slowly sapped her strength and left her house-bound for several years, Raea finally decided that if it was her fate to die, then she would at least go out and see the world a little before whatever malady that afflicted her could kill her. Not a single chirugeon has been able to identify the cause of her malady, let alone devise a cure for it.
What is the worst that could happen, out in the wider world? You only die once...and she would choose to die on her own terms.
Appearance
Despite her wealthy upbringing, Raea looks more like a street rat or penniless urchin than she does a member of Allirian high society. The effect is only enhanced by the unsightly and unseemly air of poor health, and her insistence on not wearing the finest of the fine, of trying to not draw undue attention to herself.
At least any more than can be helped.
Her hair is a plain brown with an unhealthy, dull look to it. She wears it tied at the nape of her neck; it is long enough to hang between her shoulder blades. She is slender to the point of appearing distinctly unwell, with a face made more angular by the seeming lack of flesh. Her skin is the color of death warmed over, pallid and dull, eyes fever-bright forest green most days. She prefers to wear a cloak of nondescript wool, brown and without embellishment or embroidery.

Skills and Abilities
Celestial Alignment: Unknown
Elemental Alignment: Unknown
Duannan Affinity: Unknown
Raea can wield a sword with passing skill, although she is by no means a master of the craft. She prefers a rapier, as it suits her waning strength. She was instructed in its use more as a hobby than with any real intent to use the skill, but now she uses the skill as needed.
Personality
Outwardly, Raea is an outgoing individual with a singular charm and an upbeat attitude. She has a solid sense of humor and an easy way with people that serves to distract from her obvious problems. Such is her charm and her charisma that most would count themselves blessed at her presence; the stoic and unflappable nature of the young woman merely heightens this.
Beneath that outward grace, though, lies a whirlpool of emotions that threaten to break to the surface at any time. She is dying, she knows she is dying...and she does not want to. The end terrifies her, and she seeks to evade the fear of that end by placing herself in danger - displacing one fear for another, something more easily grappled with than some unknown, faceless demon. Her illness stalks her, afflicts her day and night. It brings misery, but even more...it brings the knowledge of a suffering death that has but yet to arrive.
As a result, she is recklessly brave, although it is questionable if it is bravery when the truth is death is death. She would choose her own way out of this world, but she would experience something of that world before she went, and share the company of good people before the darkness finally arrives to claim her.
