The holding cell was not the same luxury that Edderick had imagined it would be. No she never imagined a place of distinguished wealth. Her images were in a sense a little pragmatic in that she knew it was to hold people against their will. But this hole in a patch of mud was like nothing she imagined. She imagined a dark cell of perfectly square masonry. A large wooden door held by banded steel and kept shut by a key slipped nicely on the ring of a sleeping guard, just barely out of reach. But that wasn't what she found herself in.
No, the Silk Ripper Gang holding cell was nothing more than a dirty hole in the ground, no way to grip the dirty mud without falling back in. No spikes to climb up on. No the only way up was way of the lowered platform. One she hadn't seen used since she was brought down there. All of her food and water was tossed down in a mocking hope of getting a rise. Edderick would like people to believe it didn't work, but as much as the bandits slung garbage down at her she couldn't help but sling some back up in a huff and a shout. It amused them, but besides the odd circus of embarrassment the young adventurer had no inclination of why she was even being held captor in the first place. She didn't really care at first, just glad they didn't kill her really, but when you spend weeks in a hole getting sunburned all day and freezing all night you get a lot of time to wonder.
It was in one of her wondering spells, in the pitch dark of night, that she was awoken by something that will come to help her. . .

I am looking for a story where Edderick meets a new companion to adventure with. Maybe another prisoner who can team up and finally get out. I am new to Forum Rp, so forgive me if I don't know all the usual decorum.
