Deep in the towns of Elibion, everything seems usual. The shopkeepers doing their own thing, the soldiers keeping the peace. Things happen, but in general, the places is safe from invading monsters and other forces.

When the first body of a well-respected blacksmith was discovered, the city was worried, not too worried however. They dismissed it as another murder that occurred in such a large population.

It all changed when more fresh victims were discovered at different areas of Elibion, dismembered and partially devoured. Nights goes by, and the following morning, multiple reports of death were reported daily. The town said that it's potentially a werewolf responsible for the killing. However, all the bodies has that distinct bitter smell.

On one dark night, several guards were ambushed, and devoured. However, one guard survived the attack, at the cost of a few dismembered fingers. According to the guard, a huge wolf like creature had pounced and slashed at the guards. The "wolf" however, doesn't seem to bleed. No matter where they shoot or stab at the wolf, the wolf continues attacking like nothing happened....

------

The morning afterwards is a news that brings all monster hunters and mercenaries to joy. A large price for whoever can kill or capture this "wolf" creature.

OOC info: Yes, my character isn't a wolf. He's shape shifted to disguise himself as a wolf during that attack

Night had fallen when Erantiel arrived at the city of Elbion. The gossip he had heard in his wanders were true, it was a marvelous town indeed. Ripe with wonders still unknown to him, and even though he couldn't perfectly see them, he felt the rummings of the many colors as the magic flowing through his veins painted a perfect painting to his blind eyes. With his broad dark cloak and a hood covering his white hair and pointy ears, the elf slowly walked through the gates, ignoring the suspicious looks and glares by the guards, no doubt intimidated by his eerie presence.

A group of kids passed by him as he casually strolled through one of the less populated alleys, the last one bumping into his leg before falling on her feet and letting out a short scream, Erantiel couldn't judge if it was from the pain or the shock. He could feel when she raised her head to look at his pale face to apologize, the words failing to leave her mouth as she stared at Erantiel's cold demeanor, his eyes void of life.

"They're laughing", the rough voice pierced the silent air after the girl still stood in shock. She looked around, noticing that her 'friends' left her behind, probably thinking that that stranger would kill her. She looked back at Erantiel, confused as to what he meant.

"Go home, ánet (child). Human streets aren't safe at night", said the elf, before walking past the girl, who quickly picked up and ran the other way. Erantiel felt relieved, he knew that girl would follow his advice.

Erantiel continued to wander through the walled town that remembered him so much about Fal'Addas and its intimidating structure. He had barely arrived and yet felt suffocated, anxious to leave that place. But his mission was only beginning.

He stopped at the end of another alley. Nearby, he felt the smell of blood, the pure energy of rage and the bits of darkness that still plagued the air. His dark eyes now began to glow as he felt the stench of evil like rain falling on his skin. In the street nearby, many of the city guards and coroners looked shocked and in horror at the sight of those bodies completely torn apart.

The bodies, among with the usual smell of decomposing flesh and blood, comes a new smell. A sour, gasoline like smell. Just like the other bodies... those victims were killed by the same monster....

The evil seems to be watching him, The guards aren't really too nearby to find those corpses yet. It's just him, the bodies.... and maybe the monster?

Footsteps can be heard nearby for a brief moments, human footsteps... Then the uncanny sound of footsteps is no more.... just the silence of night...

But yet, Erantiel felt evil watching him, a predator observing his prey.....

The evil is watching him, ready to pounce....

Erantiel felt the sudden change in the wind as it breezed towards him, a cold sting on his skin and his cloak shaking a bit more. His Món'Aedhe lit up from beneath his dark clothing, the strains of magic carefully weaving next to him as he started feeling everything around him, from the blood in the streets to the sounds of the guards' heartbeats, thundering on their chests.

Grinning, the elf managed to locate what he was after. The strange sensation that he was being watched as he noticed a certain disarray in the patterns of the ebons of life nearby. The energy that he felt was much more monstrous than he had feared, and it worried that such a thing could so easily slip inside a city like that.

He knew that the task would be that much harder, to capture or neutralize that beast inside these walls, with so many people around as distractions.

Erantiel turned and started walking back the alley, his head straight and his hands coldly firm as he felt the evil presence still watching him, just waiting for the first window to strike. The pale elf was eager to show it the error of its ways.

A sound... something like a splash can be heard at the exit of the alleyway. Then a growl...

A large, wolf like creature approaches the exit of the alleyway, blocking off the exit. Unlike the typical wolves, this one's eyes does not glow in the dark...

The wolf approached towards Erantiel, making no growling sound or any sort of vocal sound. It opened its mouth, and from what Erantiel can see the dark, its fangs are literally made of blades. Sharp dark blades covering the entire mouth....

The presence of evil reeks the air, as the wolf looked at Erantiel. Yet, the wolf's face looked careless, devoid of any looks of malice or rage. It's as if the wolf's face is a marble statue, lack of any sort of facial movement or predatory emotions unlike most werewolves hunting. As it walked, there's this sound of liquid splashing... Almost as if the wolf's legs are made of gel.

As the wolf headed closer, the smell of gasoline contaminates the air. Something about the wolf... doesn't feel like a beast.

Erantiel felt the ground tremble in the distant end of that dark alley when the creature seemed to pounce from the shadows and show its face. He tilted his head a bit, letting forth the eerie strings of his magic as they travelled through the air, painting him an image of what was in front of him. Only darkness, and the creature he was chasing.

He felt it as the wolf-like creature opened its huge mouth, filled with fangs more akin to blades than teeth. The elf realized then that he was dealing with no 'normal' monster, but with a different and unknown kind of beast. Of course, using 'that' in a place like a crowded city could cause more harm than good, but he had no other options to contemplate.

The winds howled stronger with each step Erantiel took as he neared the wolf, bits of light starting to rush from him as they converged on his back. Erantiel raised his left hand and grabbed the piece on his back as it finished materializing, taking the shape of a longbow.

He armed the Vir'Sállin in front of him with his left hand, as an arrow appeared on his right much like the bow did, coming from the bits of moonlight around him, the sheer showing of his magic enough to deal a few cracks on the walls.

Erantiel nocked the arrow on the bow and drew it as it started glowing with a pure, strong light.

"Ma sulen mir ráth, havhén. (You reached the end, beast.)"

The wolf stopped for a moment at the sight of the bright, glowing arrow. The wolf however, did not show any sign of fear.

A low pitched growl can be heard from the wolf. For a brief second of the standown, time seems to be freeze from the tension between the monster and Erantiel.

The wolf then pounced and leaped towards Erantiel. Right in the line of the arrow....

Time seemed to stop just as the wolf jumped in the air, lining up with Erantiel's aim. His bow wasn't trembling and his breath was calm and steady. The rimming sound coming from the arrow's arcane magic as it dripped out echoed around that tight alley.

In the moment that the wolf opened his blade filled mouth and growled as it looked to pounce and tear Erantiel apart, the Ghildárien let loose his arrow, soaring through the air swiftly and jamming itself through the wolf as if it was about to split it open, side to side.

And yet, Erantiel was filled with surprise after that. With whatever impact it caused, that thing was still very much alive, even with the pools of that strange, dark and gummy substance all around them.

Before he knew any better, Erantiel braced himself for another attack as the creature seemed to put itself back together.

The Creature laid on the ground, seemely killed. However, something dosnt feel right... that same presense of evil still lingers the air, unweakened....

The creature's body seems to melt into a discolored, liquid like state, then to pure black. The sour smell of gasoline became stronger, reeking everywhere.

A lump is emerging out from the sluge that used to be a wolf. As the lump emerges, it gained shapes... stone cold facial features....

The creatute rose in a instant, humanroid in shape, but lacking much emotions. The black, gummy like liquids seems alive, trying to move towards the direction of the creature like a snail....

A large tentacle like tail made of ooze emerged from the creature, as it wrapped itself onto the bow, attempting to snatch it away. Two sharp blade constructed out of hardned sluge emerged fom where the creature's hand would be. One hand swung towards Erantiel, aiming for the neck....

....but, the creature stopped, and looked at Erantiel with its statue like face. Through the stone cold face however, is a glimpse of emotion... curiousity?

"You remind me...." the creature said in a deep human voice, with a tint of elvish accent. "You remind me of something i do not remember...."

Erantiel got caught off guard when the creature seemingly unmade itself in that dark substance, before a humanoid silhouette poured forth from it, along with its dark mass, taking hold of Erantiel's bow before he had any chance to respond. Moments later, he could feel through the change in the air as the creature's newly formed blade cut through the air aimed for his neck, stopping only inches away.

The elf tilted his head, the magic veins around him now being able to give him a clearer image of that monster, including its emotionless face which, at that moment, stood almost quizzed, confused. Still, he wouldn't be fooled by such rudimentar strategy. He could still feel it, the taint deep inside that creature. Everything was black.

Erantiel lit up his hand with his moonlight magic, throwing the mass holding his bow in disarray as it poured like water from it, freeing the elf from its hold. In a quick movement, two glowing arrows appeared between Erantiel's fingers as he nocked them and drew his bow swiftly, unloading them on each of the monster's legs.

Again, it was tore apart like a gummy substance, but at least this time it was enough to make him pause. Erantiel nocked another arrow before aiming and drawing at the creature's head.

"What does a monster like you stands to remember?!", he sounded off, his voice rough and a bit angry.

The creature looked up at Erantiel, his bodymass are trying to re-absorb bits of the sludge hes made of on the ground. Its face morphed randomly, seemely taking on the shape of an short haired elf, complete with the shape of elf ears on its side of the head. Then the face morphed back into the cold, marble like expression.

The creature seemed to completly pause for a moment, then it said in a different tone of voice, a voice sounding exactlly the same as Erantiel, complete with his tone.

"An elf..." the creature said in Erantiel's voice, then back into a deep, but humanlike voice.

"You have no idea what you've dug yourself into.." the creature said as his legs are slowly forming back from the nearby sludge substance.

The creature went on to try and taunt Erantiel, who only put his head down slightly and gripped his bow tighter. He assumed Erantiel's own features and even his voice, trying to get in his head and cause him to misread some of its movements, but Erantiel had been trained all his life against such petty tactics.

After realizing that its attempts to trick Erantiel were futile, the creature reverted to its former self, now much more intimidating than before, rising to face Erantiel.

It spoke once again, threatening the elven ranger before he aimed his bow higher and loosened his powerful arrow, going straight through the creature's dark ooze head.

Just a tip, try not to state what action other player's character are doing in your post, since that would be kind of controlling other player's character. Just for next time.)))

The creature's black, ooze head exploded into sludges, splashing over the dark alley way. At this point, the bitter smell of gasoline stinks the air around them.

The creature's legs were somewhat reformed during the distraction, by absorbing the sludges that blasted off its body mass. Unfortunately for the creature, right as it was going to stand up, its head was blasted by the arrow. Knocking the creature back down on the ground....

Time seemed to froze for a bit... The creature was however, not destoryed. However, it realized that it will be dead if the pesky elf keeps shooting those arrows at him. A significant amount of its body mass is destoryed, and now it needs to rest and heal to regain them.

A lump appeared on the creature's headless torso, forming a new head. The body lying face up towards the sky is now shrinking, while the head started to rise, forming a standing torso... arms and legs.

The human shaped creature looked at Erantiel, this time shorter in size. It leaped onto the wall of the alleyway, sticking onto the walls and climbed onto the roof of the building in an attempt to escape....
