I am looking to get myself back into this RP stuff!

Not 100% sure what sort of thing I want to do at this point, mainly something to ease myself back into the swing of things. My girl likes to travel around as a ranger and merc, and does tend to want to avoid some of the elven homeland to avoid being recognized.

Anyone got any ideas?
 
I could definitely place her there. She is a sort of person who would travel a lot due to merc work and just not wanting to stay in one place for too long.
 
I had put up a post talking about wanting to start an elven rp thread in Fal'Addas, but honestly since no ideas are coming to me for it I wouldn't mind being apart of this if you'd have me! My character Dorinthellar here is also of Fal'Addasian nobility as well (I read your character profile Mistalee) so I don't know if that would be a problem for you since you were talking about wanting to avoid the homeland. He is hearing rumors of a long time enemy of his re-emerging in the land, and wants it scouted out, so maybe if your character is a Merc he could be hiring? Let me know!
 
I would have no problem with Dorithellar being nobility at all. I would just then assume that the two of them would at least know of each other, even if they had never met before. Mista would likely have a bit of a reputation of not exactly being 'lady like' as she much prefers her wearing traveling gear and carrying a bow over wearing dresses and jewelry.

In fact I think it could be fun if she comes to his call for mercs only for them to at least recognize each other!
 
Yes, this would be my assumption as well, which since you said avoiding the homelands is why I said that! Dorinthellar isn't one to be judgmental over those sorts of things, I'd imagined him to have quite the entourage sporting some women in the guard being that his lil sister used to be such a way herself! Anyways, is there any precise location you were thinking of the characters meeting up in, or shall we say this is a chance encounter in a small town or on the road, maybe in the back of musty inn perchance?

EDIT: I forgot the last line you wrote, so if you would like for it to be the answer of a merc's call then we could do that as well! It matters not to me either way, if you'd like to rp it out as such!
 
Sounds like a fun plan! Would you mind starting things up as I will be heading off for work soon.

Starting location does not much matter to me, wherever you think he would most likely be hiring mercs would be just fine for me. :)
