A highly advanced mage who specializes in Rune Magic, having studied it for 34 years as a Maester in the College of Elbion. In total he has been studying Rune Magic for 37 years, however since the attack from Drakomir he fled from Elbion to Maraan where he now lives, continuing his study of Rune Magic as well as offering private lessons in his own home.

A frail old man wearing a long worn out cloth robe which completely covers his body, he bears a massive equally worn out brown hat which completely covers his face. He looks like what first comes to mind when one thinks of an old, wise wizard, however his comically large hat has led to many not taking him seriously.

Highly knowledgeable and experienced in the field of Rune Magic, he is able to use it proficiently, however he is yet to become a master. The vastness of runes he is able to draw is known only to him, this is because of the sacrifice that comes with casting advanced rune magic, however he has recently started to summarize his previous knowledge as well as document new knowledge in one large tome which he has titled 'A Detailed Documentation on Runes and such Magic'.

With him he carries a cane for self-defense during expeditions, the cane has a steel tip in order to stab any hostile enemy, however its true purpose is to use the enemies' own blood to write runes on the floor, very few times has the need arisen but he always keeps it with him when leaving the comfort of his temporary home.

Usually quiet and reserved, talks only when necessary, however will extremely often over-explain and over-detail things to the point of boredom. He preffers to communicate through letters rather than face-to-face communication but doesnt mind it every once in a while.

Strangely born in The Forbidden City to unknown parents, he lived most of his life alone in the City of Elbion, working during his childhood for a merchant in the Merchant District. Childhood was an extremely difficult time for him as he had nowhere to go, the merchant he worked for only employed him off of pity and couldn't find any housing space to spare, this left Magus homeless for most of his childhood until a Maester from the College of Elbion found him in the streets, took him in and provided care and housing in the college despite his age. One day the Maester decided to take him in for one of the lessons that day. At the young age of 9, Magus took his first class at the college, this was a life changing event for him, this lesson was the beginning of Magus' fascination for magic, from then on he studied magic until the present day.

His interest in Rune Magic began with a book shop he had started to frequent, its name was 'The Gilded Feather Bookshooppe' and it had all kinds of books on all kinds of magic, he had heard the owner was a Maester of the Fifth Order so he became curious as to what kind of magic Maesters of the Fifth Order studied, thats when he came across a 'Theories on the Origins of Rune Magic by Ignatius Osric', that was the name of the owner so Magus began reading. As he read the book the more he slowly became more and more fascinated by Rune Magic, that is when he began attedning Ignatius' lectures, Magus had become a follower of Ignatius, however once Magus graduated into a Maester of the Second Order, he had started to do his own research and make his own advancements in the field, slowly going from someone who followed in another's footsteps, into someone carving their own, which is where his research into Rune Magic truly began.
