Signe Lusce
“The world know it not;
but you, Autumn, I confess it:
your wind at night-fall stabs deep into my heart.”

Appearance
Like her siblings, Signe has red hair, hers crimson with a rich orange ombré effect reminiscent of hungry flames. She carries the signature Lusce eyes: large and green, surrounded by a fan of thick copper eyelashes. She is the only sister with freckles to her dismay.
Her physique is lithe and svelte. Long-limbed with her coltish legs being longer than her torso that matches her petite shoulders, narrow waist and wide hips. Due to her slender figure, Signe prefers simple and sleek clothing with a refined simplicity. Often wears dark, warm colors, navy and neutrals to suit her complexion and features.

Personality
Signe was naturally elusive and quiet when she was young, often mumbling or thinking she had said something when she hadn’t. She preferred the company of Seryn and Saang who understood that while she was demure, she was cheerful, optimistic and expressive in her own way. For a long time, she expressed herself with telling made up tales which soon turned into dances that she would create herself.
She realized when she was older, with dancing being frowned upon in Night Court and storytelling being useless when women were not to speak, that unless she wanted to go unnoticed, she needed to change. She picked traits from her siblings that she admired, creating a perfect play-pretend mask that granted Signe a persona that was sophisticated and charismatic.
Since the move to Winter, being away from her mother and brother, Signe has fallen into deep depression that can very easily go unnoticed as she’s good at playing pretend.

Skills and Abilities
- Signe is an astonishingly talented dancer. From picking up new moves, creating and remembering entire choreographies to her incredible power and jump height, all comes naturally. Her movement, while structured and precise also carries a fluidity that makes everything elegant and effortless, despite it being extremely challenging. This shows while she has talent, she has put centuries of hard work into her passion.
- Flexibility + balance: able to do the splits and twist her body with ease. Her sense of balance is remarkable although no one notices it until they try for themselves.
- Creativity and passion are innate abilities that she’s had since very young. First with storytelling and then dancing before combining her two skills together.
- Another skill is her knack for hair and styling it, often knowing how best to enhance one’s face.
- A true fashionista, Signe is well versed in color theory and dress-making so she always looks her best.
Alignments
- Solar Alignment: Lunar— strongest during the lunar eclipse, can see in color at night.
- Primary Elemental Alignment: Fire— she cannot be burned. To enhance her dances, especially while doing pirouettes and fouettés, Signe creates detailed and mesmirizing flowers, stars, birds, butterflies, leaves and trees out of flame. This needs a lot of control but to do so while flawlessly dancing is a feat all of its own.
- Secondary Elemental Alignment: Light— easily unnoticed by the light from the fire around her, some lesser fae seem drawn to a light that comes from Signe that only they can see. Will-o-wisps flock to her when she dances.
Affinity
Her affinity is captivation. Signe has led many to believe that she can only captivate through dancing; in reality it’s sweat, spit and scent from Signe that enthralls other. It starts with mild adoration to terrifying infatuation, especially among lesser fae (higher fae are not excluded but require much more exposure). The more someone becomes captivated by her, the more they desire her in the worst way.
To date, twelve fae have tried murdering Signe so they could have her for themselves because their love was so great. They have tried to drown her, strangle her, and even cut her up in tiny pieces when she refused to belong to them. Signe had to become rather chaste as a necessity until able to master it. Her affinity doesn’t work on family members.

Animal Form
Signe can shift into an ethereal maned wolf. A strange animal to be able to transform into when born in the cold and unforgiving climate of the tundra that Night Court inhabits. However, one couldn’t agree more that this creature embodies Signe best as a animal: with the face of a fox, body of a wolf, and legs of a deer, it’s many things that meld harmoniously into one.
Her pelt is a glowing mix of various shades of orange and red like a fire, with accents of white and black about her snout, ears, ankle, paws mane and tail. Her jade green eyes also transfer over into this form. Compared to real maned wolves, Signe is far more willowy and graceful, having a slender body and longer spine. Instead of being three feet tall, she is nearly six feet tall from paw to ear tip.
