The Shtakmat state, or also known as the Sahiyi Henremdi state is a religiously-motivated organisation created by The Sayyiduna and his inner circle.
The order of the Assassins is a strictly secret and separate organisation from the corpus of the Shtakmat State. It is well known that the state uses Assassins, but the methods under which they operate are well hidden.
The Shtakmat state's flag is a golden harrier in flight and an arrow on a field of white.

Overview
Structure
The Shtakmat state is a Theocracy, meaning that the Sahiyi deity, Hushur / Kalik stands as the supreme authority. Not only above the Shtakmat state but all Sahiyi believers.
First below him is The Sayyiduna, the founder of the state.
Beneath him rank the highest of Dai and other members of The Sayyiduna's inner circle. Notably war commander Arsaalan and Dai Rahman Ibn Zaroman Ibn Shahnaz Al Arda.
Since the Sayyiduna retreated from the public eye, the members of the inner circle are considered the de facto leaders of the Shtakmat state.
Behind them follow Dai of various ranks. They are teachers, scholars and missionaries of the Sahiyi faith. Some Dai can govern over the military portion of the Shtakmat state.
The Fedayin are the most devoted soldiers. A Fedai expects to sacrifice their life for the Shtakmat state and its people. Some of the most devoted Fedayin are part of the Order of the Assasins.
Soldiers, free men compose the bulk of the Shtakmat army. Along with the Fedayin, there is a fully fleshed out pecking order among both groups intertwined, with common soldiers to Warband leaders and war commanders.
Lastly are benefactors, allies and other believers of the Sahiyi faith. These are not part of the Shtakmat State proper but prove some support in one way or another.

Military warbands
The Sayyiduna's forces operate with warbands, these warbands in typical fashion are identified through distinctly coloured banners. These banners serve as a sort of name for the group or the joint identity of the soldiers. The banner itself may hold some deeper meaning to the bandleader through what motifs they choose to represent or invoke.
The Sayyiduna sometimes leases his warbands to other factions for monetary gain.
It is important to note that the usage of banners is far more limited within the Seret mountains due the proximity of other enemy factions. Identification is often limited to presenting sigils of the Sahiyi Henremdi state, often including marred heron feathers or any other symbol of the state.
Featured below are some of the more known bands operating within the Shtakmat state.
Two white swallows on a field of black. This group is led by the White Swallow. The shields are painted with a single bird in flight.
Two golden arrows and stars on a field of red. This group is led by the Fedayin Nadim Ibn Adil.
White horse with a flag on a field of black. This group is led by Nariman.
White shield and golden flowers on green. This is one of the stronger divisions within the Shtakmat State. It is led by Zakariyya and his second in command, Yelhix'w. Their shields are green with either white streaks or a golden flower.
Red rearing horse on a field of black. This group is led by Schihim. A light cavalry famed for being the fastest, usually often on escort duty. Some often confuse this for Nariman's Warband.

Members
The Sayyiduna. Enigmatic and mysterious, some say he may not even exist at all or has died a long time ago and his existence is a coverup for a larger plot. Some people had witnessed him before and he may once freely walked among his people. Now, only the highest Dai supposedly still speak to him.
Arsalaan. The lion, the high commander of the Shtakmat army. He has a friendly facade, however, most could attest to his cruelty and strict nature.
Dai Rahman Ibn Zaroman Ibn Shahnaz Al Arda. Dai Rahman appears as a bitter old man with a less than polite vocabulary. His heart, however, is in the right place.
Dai Esfandyar is a Dai located in As Nineban. Apparently he is one of the many who train and teach Assassins. [1]
Azrana of Sahkrizil. A blue orc from deep within the mountains. He is the hand of the Sayyiduna. Likely also one of his trusted companions. Between the others, he doesn't see him much. If there is any busy and difficult work to do, Azrana will do it. Azrana is a eunuch that was sold and freed by the Sayyiduna. He is also the adoptive father to Aisha, a little wide-eyed girl. [2]
Hakim Amandim Al-Nartarpur is a scientist and doctor. He is a Vedargasian that originates from the city Nartarpur. His skin is dark, his features plump. The hair on his face is thick and black, almost raven blue in colour. He still has a high interest in Vedargasian politics.
White Swallow of Narra is a party commander.
Issa is a party commander in the Castle As Nineban. He may be occasionally described as foul, but he tends to keep his chin up.
Zakariyya is a stern but light man. He is one of the higher ranking band commanders. He has many responsibilities and flies under the banner of the white shield and four golden flowers on a green field.[3]
Yelhix'w, is Zakariyya's inlaw and his Second in command. His horse is light russet and tacked plainly. He has light beard and moustache, his face is weathered but finely chiselled yet soft on the eyes. His eyes carry a certain kind of calmness and reassurance. He wears a yellow turban around his head and a red cloak around his padded clothes and armour. His padded shirt is dark green with light green flower ornaments.
He can often be seen lounging and thinks of himself as Zakariyya's equal. He's a chill bro, don't doubt him. [4]
Nariman. He is a devoted Fedai, perhaps a bit too eager to lash into battle. his banner is that of a white horse on a black field. He is of the more bantery sort. [5]
Nadim Ibn Adil. -/-

Conduct
All members of the Shtakmat State are believers of the Sahiyi faith (Sahiyi view on their deity), meaning that they adhere to Sahiyi religious principles.
Despite Sahiyism being a pacifist religion, the Shtakmat state is highly militaristic in an attempt to protect themselves and other Sahiyi believers from harm. Much to the disfavour of the peaceful Sahiyi mystics.
The Sahiyi view on Evil is not as an absence of good, but rather something that exists due to good being in the world, similar to how shadows exist due to light.
This perception, however, does not negate their teachings that they must strive to do good in life. Yet the members of the Shtakmat state use it in their defence that they spread good by taking the vow of the greater sin (killing people) to protect their faith and lives.
This led to a popular motto among the soldiers being 'I've fallen in love with living', which is a segment of a poem of many meanings, attributed to the Sayyiduna.
- The soldiers are expected to keep themselves clean and bathe themselves regularly.
- They are required to cleanse themselves of impurities of their soul, like anger, lies, an overblown ego. Similarly, they should set away time to abstain from problematic thoughts and worries.
- Pray daily to Kalik or for your fellow man.
- To treat your fellow man with respect and aid him if he requires help. Knowledge and skills should also be shared among your brethren. Sahiyi soldiers are also required to spend time learning. Generally, those teachings revolve around Sahiyi scripture, mathematics and writing.
- The day of the soldier of the Shtakmat state revolves around vigorous training, self-care, education, prayer and more training.
- Sahiyi teachings lead their believers to a path of continuous self-improvement, however, none take this as seriously as some of the higher-ranking officials and the entirety of the Sahiyi mystic movement.

Order of the Assassins
The secret order of Assassins uses a Squacco Heron as its symbol. They are trained to blend in seamlessly into various groups of people, regardless of social rank. If magically inclined, they are trained in the arts of subtle illusionism.
The most desirable skills in a promising assassin are not strength and stealth, but intelligence and resourcefulness, as well as the ability to adapt to everchanging situations. A fedai that is most devoted to the Sahiyi state will eventually be recruited into the order of the assassins. They are expected to join without objection.
Assassins are thus trained in different languages and cultures of Amol-Kalit. They must be very educated not only in science but also in combat and subterfuge. All these skills are meant to prepare them for their upcoming duty.
A target is marked by an assassin by leaving a tainted heron's feather on the target's pillow one or a few days prior to the assassination attempt.
This may work in part as a terror instigator in the target. Sometimes if only as a ruse.
Basis
The Sahiyi believers have long been oppressed for their faith. The Sayyiduna, once a man that walked among others, created the Sahiyi Henremdi State to protect these vulnerable people.
The Shtakmat state operates by enacting surgical strikes against high priority targets as well as public assassinations.
Since the usual targets to be executed are despised, the populace tends to be favourably inclined towards the Sahiyi Henremdi state.
The Shtakmat state protects those that live in its vicinity, and since its rise, violence towards defenceless villages had declined. Sey'Kube, their grand city of the north also has lower taxes than what is common.
Holdings
Its holdings are spread out throughout northern and central Amol-Kalit, generally based around impenetrable fortresses seized through deception.
Enemy territory is closely entwined between the holdings as well other neutral territories.
Castle Shtakmat is the main holding and the first seized by the Sayyiduna.
As Nineban is one of the more prominent Castles in the region, supposedly Assassins are trained behind its walls.
Sey'Kube is a city, the only city within the Shtakmat state. Arsalaan leads the army in this city.
Narra is a small village that grows hibiscus.
Al-Mirabet is a village that breeds black camels.
