Born just a few short years before the second war between the Elves of the Falwood and the Humans of Vel Anir, Myrdin was a first hand witness to much of the destruction that occurred during that time.

Though he, like most of his people, fought in the war, his age kept him from partaking in the worst of the fighting. Despite this, like many of his people, he felt the peace accords which were eventually reached were an utter humiliation for their people.

Over the years between the wars resentment began to build, and along with his friend Katyr El'Sur, Myrdin eventually joined a group of Elves known for their staunchly aggressive view against humanity.

For the next two decades the group trained as hard as any elf ever had. Myrdin, or Myr to most of his friends, proved himself to be an exceptional archer even among the already gifted Elves. Though having none of the magics of his friend, Myr proved himself to be an exceptional warrior. It was said among the band he had both the greatest eye, and the best sense of the Falwood itself.

When the third Elven war broke out, Myr and the others were unleashed.

They worked together as a Kill-team, hunting down and slaughtering Dreadlords wherever and however they could. Through the short years of the war the six of them managed to kill dozens of Dreadlords. Sometimes in ambush, other times in pitched battles.

Through utterly brutal methods the group began to make a name for themselves, and even the most powerful Dreadlords began to fear them. Ultimately, towards the end of the war, the band of Elven warriors was confronted by two Dreadlord Archons. In a battle that would see nearly three square miles of the Falwood utterly devastated, the elves were defeated. Katyr was captured, the others were killed, and Myr alone was left alive. Though barely.

Found eventually by elements of the Addas Rangers, Myr was taken back home to Fal'Addas where he was slowly nursed back to health.

Believing himself the only survivor, Myrdin never went looking for his old friend. Instead he spent the next century wallowing within despair at the loss of his friends and the pointlessness of the war they fought. Gripped with a shadow over his heart, Myr alienated many of his own kindred. Preferring to spend time alone in the great libraries or simply in isolation.

Through this time he has gained a great amount of knowledge in some of the more ancient magics of the Falwood, though it is said even now the loss of his friends weighs heavily on his heart. It is only in recent years that Myr has stepped out from his isolation. Treading the great forest once more.
