Background

Meinhard Night is the father of Lorraina "Rainie" Night and Aydrian Night. He is the husband of Brendalynn Night. He was once a shopkeeper for his wife's business as a seamstress. Upon the beset of his wife's illness, he closed the shop and began to work odd jobs. His main goal in life now had become to care for his ailing wife and spend as much time with her as he could. Since Brendalynn's death, Meinhard has taken a permanent position at a blacksmith and moved into the apartment above it.

Appearance

Meinhard is a worn but handsome man. His hair, now thin, is a warm brown. He has a thick beard and mustache that he keeps well trimmed. His forehead is deeply wrinkled by worry lines. He has large hands that are callused from work. He rarely smiles, and appears to be a very serious man. Despite his age, he remains stocky and strong from years of manual labour.

Personality

Meinhard is a quiet individual, and a deep thinker. He is always able to offer wise advice, even to his worldly children. He is very well respected amongst the merchants of Alliria, and receives much well-earned support from his community. He loves his wife and his children very much, and above all, is a hard worker.
