Kardidua Charosh
Kardidua Charosh is the chieftain of the Charosh tribe. She has been leading the tribe for over twenty years since the previous chieftain Jeroth - her mate at the time - was killed in a squabble with another tribe. She is a stern warrior, but her cunning and experience led the tribe out of a difficult time. Within the tribe her word is law.
Kardidua became the mate of the Chieftain when she was only sixteen years old. Already by that time she was known as an exceptional hunter and a skilled swordsman. Their first two children were lost to disease but her third child, Hath Charosh, was healthy.
When Hath was just five years old and Kardidua thirty five Jeroth was killed in battle. The tribe had suffered to disease, poor weather and losing several skirmishes with other orc tribes. She rose to take the mantle of Chieftain and proceeded to turn the fortunes of the clan around.
She found a new mate from outside the tribe. The leader of a small group of fierce warriors, Dathimm, brought several powerful warriors with him to secure the tribe. Unfortunately a number of Jeroth's supporters left the tribe at this point. Only his brother Ghawek, stayed behind to raise Hath.
Her son was kept on the fringes of the tribe and left to Ghawek, Kardidua feeling that if she showed him too much favour that Dathimm and his immediate family might drive him away.
Leading her tribe to verdent hunting grounds she established the practise of the tribe migrating south, closer to Falwood in the late dry season. Penteth Charosh was formed.
She bore Dathimm two sons, Bathyr and Dendramarr, who are currently nineteen and twelve respectively. Bathyr is a large, powerful orc in great favour within the clan. It is believed he will succeed his mother in leading the tribe. Dendramarr is a relatively wild orc child who makes a nuisance of himself around the tribe.
Her hair has greyed over the years and her face has been weathered by time. However there is a fierce determination in her gaze and she is still has a broad, athletic figure. Whilst rarely seen with longsword in hand she is still known to be terrifying with the blade.
