Biography & Lore
Isa grew up on the Isles of Sheketh, the town of Minaris. Many wondered how a half human made it to the island in the first place. Her origin is largely unknown. A local fisherman and his wife took the strange child in and raised her as their own. It quickly became clear that she was more than human. Though, the elves and half elves of the island didn’t think she was one of them.
It wasn’t until much later that Isla learned of her dryad lineage. The townspeople noticed it too. Wherever the girl lived, once over-farmed land or sandy-soil would turn fertile and flourish with life. Duke Sabel had his eye on the girl and with relations tense with the sudden influx of Naga enemies nearby, he secured a deal for Isla to marry his second eldest son.
Isla knew it would be an honor to be included within the royal family. But there was one problem. She wasn’t in love with the duke’s son. So, she did whatever any other scared young woman would do. She ran.
