Agron Salim

Fame: Regional Infamy​

Agron Salim is man of ill repute, depending who you ask, though stands now as one of the various instructors of The College of Elbion. Born and raised in the city, he has not stayed there his entire life however; as he was once the enigmatic adventurer and 'mage-for-hire' so many often fear in these troubled times. The man known Agron did this out of curiosity, however the need for money and his certain skill set soon set him on a path of destruction.​

Notably, Agron participated in sieges, conflicts, and wars spread across the continents by various groups and governments, even tasked by other mages to commit atrocities against anyone who dared to rise up against some unknown despot. It created a fine wad in his pocket, but with it his heart slowly darkened at the realization how cruel humanity was. Still, with a goal already set, Agron stuck to his magical guns and did what he did until he decided to leave, but not before earning the name 'The Grey Death' during an especially bloody conflict between minor lords east of Vel Anir.​

After attaining a good sum, Agron invested much of his money in his hometown, making friends with rich business men who helped to multiply his ill gotten earnings in more legal manners, making a rich man out of a cold, calculating one. With money in the bank, he turned hi entire attention to bringing up the next generation of mages; becoming a teacher and Maester at the college; eventually rising to the Second Order with little resistance.​

During his tenor as a Second Order Maester, Agron discovered Augustine Haley, a fellow Kavoshian, and after seeing an opportunity to create a future for himself, forced her to bring a child unto the world. Eventually killing not only her but her husband in a secret plot, Agron took the child on as his own, adopting him for the sake of saving face despite their genetic relation, kept secret from the masses.​

Eventually, in a pout during Douglas's childhood, the aging magician would lose an arm to the child; a result of his pure formed Kavoshian genetics;l leaving him forever scarred by the child he brought unto the world. A minor inconvenience, he has never held it over the boy's head.​

Following an accusation of conspiracy against Elbion, Agron Salim and Douglas Haley were imprisoned before an impromptu prison escape allowed the both to escape. A bounty of 60,000 Gold coins has been placed on Agron's head, dead or alive, and is considered extremely dangerous. Current whereabouts of Agron are unknown, with rumors appearing of him being recognized in cities across both continents.​
