Eimur Emisol
Member of The Merchants Council
Summary of Common Knowledge
Fame: Continental Fame │ Figure of Renown
A member of not only The Fifth Order, but The Merchants Council, Eimur is a figure of legendary proportions for not only his political influence over Elbion and his trade focused policies to expand the city, but his nigh legendary status as Mage of unknown capacity amongst the college of powerful mages. He stands as figure for the vast majority of the college for both of these reputations, matched only by his charisma and loving nature.
'Elbion's Grandfather', as some know him, has spent a life time teaching the next generation of mages and ensuring that Elbion would continue growing for many years to come in most notably his attempts at increasing immigration to the city and its localized hamlets and claims. Known well for his Psionic magicry, myths have been proposed about him quenching the fire of a dragon's anger with nothing but a thought, though much of this is left up to rumor and hearsay rather than outright fact. In truth, the only person who knows how far Eimur can push himself is Eimur himself. This creates an equal part of mystery to the legendary mage as his charismatic nature makes him so endeared by the city as a whole.
In general, Eimur is a man of vast important, and spares no expense in his eccentric style and demeanor. While loving, venerable, and enduring, he too shows the political wisdom to deal with the politicians of Vel Anir without blinking and too his fellow council members. In the face of danger there is few equals in terms of leadership, and the city of Elbion understands this; as to why they have established him as such a powerful figurehead of their city.
Death: 369 AoC
Eimur was notably killed during a home invasion by Douglas Haley in the year 369 AoC following a prison break by the latter, forcing much of Elbion into mourning. This has caused a large bounty to be placed on Douglas Haley to the tune of 35,000 Gold pieces in whatever currency one wishes, should he be alive, with only 6,000 if he is dead. Those hunting Douglas Haley should be noted he is considered extremely dangerous, and should be approached with caution.

Appearance
One of the standing five members of the Merchant's Council, Eimur is a man who shows wisdom in ever wrinkle, every extra hair he has grown over the years. His face is sagging, pulled down from years of stress and study, who carries nothing but respect in his short and careful gaunt; age seeming to threaten to take him with every step. The man is a living legend amongst mages, notably of Elbion, and his face speaks eons of what he holds behind those unnaturally sharp blue eyes.
Eccentric in fashion, Eimur owns two companies in Elbion, giving him enough wealth to actively express himself in any manner he so chooses. He often does this with long, flourishes of color in the form of robes, hair braided amongst his messy tussles of hair, and gold locks holding these bindings together. On his neck, he holds piece of jewelry of unknown origin that never leaves; a carefully carved symbol marking some sort of magical purpose, but one he never speaks of. The mystery of it seems to only add to the oddity of the man's swagger, but one that is n't minded by his closest friends.
In form, he is relatively average in height, but shorter than he once was, along with heavier. Hunched through years of strain and poor posture, he once stood nearly two inches taller, but now suffers the pain of his existence from his new perspective with little complaint, choosing instead to pester others for their incredulous height instead of focusing on his own shortness. Along with that, he has fallen out of shape, allowing years of inactivity and scholarly affairs adding many pounds of weight to his once slim figure; making him appear not only rich in terms of weight, but reasonably approachable due to his lack of outright danger.

Skills and Abilities
Little is known of just how far Eimur is able to push his abilities, nor what he specifically focuses on. He has been said to be a master of most elemental forms, that they were even the first to be touched on by the aging master of the arts; yet only a few have ever seen him perform with such actions. Others still have claimed he is a master of fringe arts, those of reality warping teleportation and black-holes or even mind domination magics, though these have never been publicly seen by the masses. Generally, what he is known for by the various members of the College and the city as a whole, is his ability to be well rounded, touching on innumerable subjects with a reasonable skill, though more than even that is his psionic abilities.
Known to have dispelled magic through negation and destruction spells, even conquering the minds of lesser creatures or otherwise influencing them, or moving objects strictly with thought alone. He has distinguished himself as near legendary by picking up thirteen concurrent boulders weighting a ton a piece, strictly on a bet made to him by an acolyte at the college; a mere glimpse into the power that is Eimur and his holdings. It is for this exact reason he has been referred to as 'Master of The Mind' on more than a single occasion.

Personality
Conventionally, Eimur comes off as a man of simple make, carrying with him a joyous smile and a willingness to teach all those who come to see him. To make a direct connection, he chooses to act as the standing grandfather for almost all at The College of Elbion, bringing many to trust and believe in the man with all their heart. He has done little to take away this trust, willing to give even the shirt off his back for the sake of another; something he has been known to do from time to time, but not in recent years.
Eimur looks to the future of Elbion with bright intentions, helping to guide the Merchant's Council with his full wisdom, and outright influence. His mage connections allow him to remain as a strong influence of College politics in addition, and all of this is done through a mixture of his charismatic, loving personality, and the simple way he treats all those around him with a fair and guiding hand. He is a man of many feats, and leading not only the College's youth, but the City as a whole makes him well respected by many who meet him.

Biography & Lore
Born in 298 to Victoria and Izen Emisol, Eimur was named after his own grandfather and magical inspiration. Descending from a strong lineage of Court Mages and Scholars on both sides of his family, Eimur was given the a eugenic inspired start to life that allowed him a very strong foundation to lift himself into the rest of his life. The man began life with a loving family, a reasonable fortune to back him, and innumerable members of a spanning support network that looked to see him become as great as he could.
With a reasonable childhood, Eimur spent much of his early life simply studying magic from the many tomes his family held dear, along with the guidance of not only his grandfather, but his father as well. This went on for many years until at the age of 17, where despite how well versed their family was in the many arts of Magic; their Grandfather disappeared and was not to be found. Following this, Eimur's father fell into a depression, and Eimur knowing none the wiser grew cold at the sudden change in his families dynamic.
In an unknown spur of motivation, Izen began to make preparations to see Eimur and Victoria from the city; to set out to Vel Anir or Elbion to live the rest of their life. His reasoning was that 'Alliria was no longer our home.', though he never spoke of the reasons. Months passed by until Eimur learned the truth, and the disappearance of his grandfather was because he had been captured in a cruel attempt to replace a local lord with a well funded, well connected entity. He learned this not from his father, but from the rush of guards that had burst into his home and taken his family hostage; ending his life before his very eyes in a flurry of activity that left him running from the home and departing on the preplanned trip his father had sent out. With his Mother in tow, Eimur eventually made it to Elbion; though after many years of travel, with a short stop in Vel Anir to recuperate funds and sell off family trinkets.
Once in Elbion, his life seemed to start over, finding connections in various aspects and joining the college after near a year of applying. His prior experience differentiated him from the many there, turning him into a relatively municipal celebrity for the city, and in turn finding tutelage under some of the greatest Masters the city had to offer. Years passed under this distinction only to be interrupted once more by a death, this time being his mother. Passing in her sleep, the death would hold a dark cloud over his head for many days, so said that he never saw the light of day nigh a fortnite before coming out to speak.
After his mother's death, Eimur refused to marry, nor even associate romantically with any female under the claim that it would distract him from his research; whatever that may be. While people questioned his eccentric response, nobody delved as he was certainly not the first voluntary celibate in the College, and nor would be the last; so it remains even to this day that Eimur holds no children, and no wife; The last known member of his own line.
As a man who has felt much, and holds emotion deep in his heart, he now stands as a beacon of reputation and fortitude for the vast majority of Elbion; looking towards him as the singular entity of inspiration as a role model for the rising mages of the college, and a friend to the merchants and civilians that tend to the cities slowly aggrandizing economy and influence over the region.
