We'd like to take a moment to impress upon you that we, the Staff, do everything in our power to make Chronicles a fun, safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone. It is our duty to ensure that all members can enjoy their time in the Discord Server and on the forums doing what they love and creating amazing stories.
Since our opening, we've had to issue very few permanent bans, most of which have been due to harassment and poor etiquette or behavior that disrupts the community and threatens the comfort and safety of our members.
We would like to remind members that if you feel unsafe or threatened in any way, please take a moment to contact staff about it. You can find us with the blue names in the Discord or with the "STAFF" tags beneath our account names on the forum. Our ModBot is also happy to get you in contact with us if we do not appear online at any given time. As a members of this community it is everyone's responsibility to ensure they are being respectful of one another - if someone asks you to leave them be or says you are making them feel uncomfortable, respect their wishes. Harassment, shaming, and emotional abuse have no place here.
We recently escalated our harassment policy for both the forum and the discord. A user's behavior may warrant immediate and permanent dismissal from site and chat services. Offenses that may warrant this kind of dismissal include persistent harassment, stalking, or making threats to our members. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to speak to a Staff member about harassment please feel free to reach out to us!
