Dear Cassian,

I just wanted to say sorry. When I met you and Lexi, I think I was just scared about what having a human family would be like. Scared about dragging you two into the world I was raised in. Scared about a lot of things. I don't regret meeting you and I hope you don't regret meeting me. There's a war coming where I am. I just wanted you to know that I was sorry. I don't know what the future holds but I'd like to spend more time with you if that's something you want, too.
