The old haggish woman laughed when Kallach spoke. It didn't seem sinister. It seemed more as if she'd anticipated such words from him. Like she was making a bet with herself prior to arriving here. She tapped her cane once to the earth.
"I am like you; simply a traveler involving myself in matters I shouldn't. I was told that you would recognize me because of your blood. It seems that is not the case."
She took confident steps towards the pair. The woman's aura did not reflect harmful intention. Her appearance made no sense, though. It was almost as if she was here before they were.
"What if I told you -" the old woman pointed at the tiefling in his arms. "That she had fae blood, too."
