Open Chronicles The Great Winter Sailing

A roleplay open for anyone to join
The docks seemed like a wonderful idea, as the giantess was quite keen on the unique ships that were built on this side of the world. Back home, they had their own vessels, but perhaps all these novel designs could be incorporated? Perhaps she should take a picture with one of her photosensitive crystals for later research!

-POV changes to Caomh-

The thunderer observed the many different beasts that resided here, some seen before, some very unknown. The eyeless devourers unsettled it though, there was no knowing where their attention lay. Hmmm suspicious.

Prrrshhhh, blip blop!
Caomh let out a pleased toot as the last droplets of water filled the through.
His massive head soon after dipped in and up as he gobbled the first slurp of water down his throat.
Refreshing but hmm... The water was flavourless. Yet the thunderer reminded himself over how yucky that heavy water of the mountain was...it was sickeningly 'sweet', so perhaps this was the better alternative, but it was not the best.

“Aye captain!” Melani said helping with what she could to help the ship make way. She saw the others pull ahead of them leaving the port.

“So I know this isn’t safe but..I mean we..We won’t fall out of the sky will we?” She asked no one in particular almost speaking to her self.

No reassurance met her question left to hang in the air like a corpse as the crew busied itself around her. She decided it was best to simply make her way to her infirmary and begin any perpetration she had neglected while preparing to help with the sails. The mage being brought along ruffled her feathers slightly.

She had familiarized herself with the crew enough to help aid her services, but this new mage was a new variable she hadn’t counted on leaving her feel slightly less prepared than normal. She brushed it off and approached the mage as she was presented with her consolation prize for her aid earlier. “New member eh?” She said with a slight huff.

“Is it com for us to bring everyone along before we leave or is she special she said with a half joking, half nervous chuckle revealing her slight discomfort on the subject.
