Letters and flyers have been distributed across the wider region in hopes to attract willing adventurers. The village of Visk is in dire emergency. Its populace: heavily distraught, for they wish not to live like barbarians.
New cutlery and tools brought from other towns quickly end up missing over night.

Visk is a pretty town nearby a waterfront. It's surrounding terrain characterised by many hidden lagoons, rivers, ravines and ponds. The houses of the village were tall with white facades, red roofing and green, blue or yellow window and door frames.
Most of the villagers were upper class, working as manufacture labourers, potters and cooks.

An odd request for sure, this one was. After all, claws and teeth were plenty sufficient for eating, were they not? And even if one's anatomy necessitated utilizing cutlery, who would go about amassing such a...specific type of household object? This begged further investigation.
Livyatan had seen a copy of this flyer, as it had fallen into the bay and drifted out to sea, but he had been unable to read most of it due to the degradation of the ink and paper, and had thus been forced to come ashore to find an intact copy. He had beached himself a decent distance away in the form of a fish, then turned into his human form to avoid suspicion. And all that for...some forks and knives.
He began to ponder for a bit, standing and scratching his head in the town square.
