Private Tales Rebel Yell

  • World Event Update

The portal stones, reliable for thousands of years, recently sent travellers to locations across the world.

They appear to be working as normal, but the whispers in the void between locations have grown louder. Even those without magical talent can hear them.

Mahir considered the question for far too long.

It was as if he hadn't even thought of such a thing before. There was reason for it of course. The Mimic was a construct, a creature. He did as he was told, and never before had the Lamia commanded him to keep someone whose place he took alive.

After almost a solid minute of Sirvani's disbelief and Elliot's question did Mahir finally answer. "No."

He looked to Elliot.

"The subject does not need to die." He said with a smile, almost as if the very concept was somehow amusing. "Though it would be best they were not given the freedom to...interfere."

Slowly he glanced at Sirvani. "Two of the same face tend to confuse people."

He said, as though preempting a question.
