"Hush." Djanas voice was strong, as strong as that of a squad leader on the battlefield.
The tone was one she had learned in the sands, when she had still lived with her people. It was how the Elders had always spoken, how they had managed to convey things when absolutely necessary.

"Poison here." Djana began as she kneeled and cupped Ana's cheek. "Of all places."
She doubted the girl was actually poisoned. More likely nerves had gotten to her. "Won't somebody get the doctor?
Djana cried, hoping the girl was smart enough to catch on.
