    The portal stones, reliable for thousands of years, recently sent travellers to locations across the world.

    They appear to be working as normal, but the whispers in the void between locations have grown louder. Even those without magical talent can hear them.

Threads open to all members of the Dreadlords group
Livia grimaced and averted her gaze as Mieri spoke.

She wished there had been another Initiate with them so she was not the only one to deal with the energy both Thraah and Mieri possessed. "Right, but we do all of this discretely. As far as we know it, people are suspicious we are looking into something that happened months ago. The Dreadlords and the Guard have conducted their own reports and findings, we cannot be seen annoying the residents of Vel Acan."

Liv picked up her tea cup, taking a slow sip.
 
Thraah kept eating, nodding.
"Uh huh, yeah, discreet, cool."
She knew enough about herself to know she was not discreet.
"So what am I supposed to do while you two are snooping around solving mysteries, make the world's biggest sandwich?"
She finished her pastry and slurped more tea into her mouth.
