Staff Map Location Request Thread

This is where members may request to have a location added to the Chronicles Interactive Map. To do so, simply reply to this thread with your request using the provided template below. Be sure your request follows the guidelines and requirements. Staff may decline any request due to lack of fulfillment for the requirements or other reasons.

MAP LOCATION REQUEST TEMPLATE (copy and paste this into your post)

Name: (Name of the location)
Type: (Small, Medium, Large, Grand, Immense)
Wiki page: (Link the wiki page)
Image: (A small image of the location used in the pin popup - we suggest using the main image from the location's wiki entry)
Which map: (The main Arethil map, Pandemonium, Underrealm, or one of the sub-maps (e.g. cities))
Where: (Provide a screenshot of our map with a dot indicating exactly where the location should go.)


MAP LOCATION REQUEST REQUIREMENTS

• All location submissions to the Map Request thread must have a complete Location article.
  • A complete Location article should include the following:
    • An image of the location.
    • All major fields of the article template filled out.
    • Enough detail that others can use the article as the setting of a roleplay - at least a paragraph for each major section of the article template.
    • The larger in scale the location, the more detailed and thorough the article should be.
    • Appropriate formatting, grammar, and punctuation.
    • IC roleplay references (see Roleplay Requirements section below).
    • If you are having difficulty creating your Location article, please ask a Staff member for assistance.
  • Grab a screenshot of the area of the map you are referring to.
  • Use MS Paint or another mark-up/art program to place a red dot on the location you want.
  • If you are having difficulty doing this, please ask a Staff member for assistance.
• All location submissions must fulfill our outlined Roleplay Requirements:
  • Small locations:Locality/hamlet (<1,000 population), small monument/ruin/area/landmark)
    • 2 threads of any Prefix type
    • Featuring at least 2 writers within each thread
  • Medium locations: Village/small town/fort (1,000 - 10,000 population) larger monument/ruin/area/landmark/trade hub/port/group headquarters)
    • 4 threads, 2 must be Group threads (minimum 3 writers to count as a group thread)
    • Featuring at least 3 writers total, 2 minimum per non-group thread
  • Large locations: Large town/small city/fort/holdfast/trade hub/port (10,000 - 100,000 population)
    • 6 threads, 4 must be Open Chronicles or Group threads (minimum 3 writers to count as a group thread)
    • Featuring at least 3 writers total, 2 minimum per non-group thread
  • Grand locations: Medium city/fort/holdfast/trade hub/port (100,000 - 200,000 population)
    • 8 threads, 4 must be Open Chronicles or Large Group threads (minimum 4 writers to count as large group thread)
    • Featuring at least 4 writers total, 2 minimum per non-group thread
  • Immense locations: Large city/trade hub/port (200,000+ population)
    • 12 threads, 8 must be Open Chronicles or Large Group threads (minimum 4 writers to count as large group thread)
    • Featuring at least 6 writers total, 2 minimum per non-group thread
