The Inner City of Alliria was bustling with activity despite the late hour and Pieron was grateful for it. It allowed him to get closer to the stone mansion on the north side of 'Belgrath Square' relatively incognito, that said, he wouldn't be able to get as close as he could in the Outer City where more people of his kind lived. Still, he melted with the crowds in their fancy clothes with vibrant colors, assisted by the fact that he refused to carry any weapons for he had the only weapon he'd ever need; magic.
He had his eyes on the mansion at 'Belgrath Square' for a single reason and he was uncertain if the rumor on which he journeyed all the way east to Alliria was based on fact at all. It was that crafty elf, the one that got him expelled, she had mentioned scrolls at the private library on Belgrath Square that contained Dark Magic. It would have been her next target, perhaps, and he hoped not only to find the scrolls but to encounter her as well. She had something coming, for sure.
The moment he finally reached said mansion he hugged the outer wall and looked upwards to the window on the third floor. There was ample of shadow to cover his movements if he was quick and he wasn't planning on being slow. Muttering some words, Pieron chose the right moment to suddenly dash straight up against the wall until he reached that third floor window and pushed it open. Just like that he was in.
None of the candles burned and the only light inside was a faint glow of moonlight coming through the windows. Though even in bad light it was unmistakably a library. "Now," Pieron smiled as he began his search, walking along the shelves with his face mere inches from the books and scrolls to be able to read them in the bad light. "If I was a scroll on Dark Magic, where would I be?"
