Vel Anir - Harrowgate Prison
"Get in there, freak, and don't let me hear you making any complaints!" The Guard behind Khari shouted as she felt a heavy hand shoving her forward.

Three stumbling steps took her into the main yard of Harrowgate Prison, a few dozen eyes flickering up and a few more following as murmurs of 'devil child' and ''nother tiefling' slowly ran through the yard. They were whispers she was not unused to, but in a place like this she was surprised how little it actually meant. Among the crowd of humans she spotted a dozen or so Tieflings, half more that with skins of green or blue, and even a few that looked more odd.

She had always thought that Vel Anir was a place of humans, but then again where else would a society like that throw the ones who weren't?

Shaking her head, Khari slowly began to make her away across the yard. Hands rubbing gently at where just seconds ago manacles had been gripping to tight, purple eyes flickering down for just a second to make sure the Fulu Seal was still in place upon her wrist. Finding the Ink still lasting within her skin, Khari breathed a small sigh of relief. It would be some time yet before her magic returned, meaning she had a few days to find her target.

Though just how she was supposed to fi- "Oi."

A man called out to her, his skin red, broken horns prominent atop his forehead.

"Youre with us, Cuz." The Tiefling called to Khari, beckoning her over. The Assassins head tilting ever so slightly as she hesitated, and then slowly meandered her way over towards the other prisoner. "In Harrowgate, it's best you stick with your own. Human's don't like anything much different than them, and the others..."

His voice rolled off as he gestured towards a group of what Khari assumed her Half-Orc's, each of them staring at her with eyes filled with something she would rather forget. "What's your name? I'm Emrit."

The Tiefling offered a hand as others of 'their kind' began to gather behind him. All curious to meet their new friend.

"Khari." She said with a smile, grabbing Emrit's hand. Maybe he could help her find the man she was looking for.
