Khari was born in the Dynastic city of Dornoch.

Deemed an abomination from birth, the baby was born with horns and lines of read already embellished within her skin. Her parents almost immediately attempted to be rid of her, though they were stopped by agents of state itself who were able to detect the child's gifts.

Though it is quite unknown how, the Erdeniin Dynasty itself stopped the girls parents from depositing her on the banks of the Allirian Straits.

It was the Dynast herself, or rather her agents, who saved Khari before she could be killed. They took her into their care, raising her to adulthood as a servant of the state itself. This has sort of indoctrinated the girl over the years, though her attitude is that of a rapscallion and rogue, rather than loyal agent.

Thought one might expect her childhood to be a dark one, the City of Dornoch ensured that it was in fact the opposite.

Perhaps knowing her potential, or perhaps offering genuine compassion, the girl was raised practically as a Princess.

Growing up Khari's life was one of three things; Privilege, education, and training. She was given everything anyone would ever want, while simultaneously being groomed and taught to be one of the most deadly beings in all of Arethil. Far from being shied away from, her nature as Daemon Touched was both groomed and cultivated by her tutors.

Khari was taught to be a killer, shown how to use her magics and run through daily exercises with the blade, crossbow, and a myriad of poisons. Over the years she was trained to be the perfect assassin, representing the interests of the Dynast and her family.

In contrast to many other states, Khari is not treated as a thing or possession, but instead a valued asset.

The Dynast has given her an estate, servants, and a life which most commoners could only dream of. Yet in return she has sworn her loyalty, and even though her jovial nature might make one doubt it, she well understands her place within Donarch's society.
