Private Tales Don't get comfortable

A private roleplay only for those invited by the first writer
“Do I sound excited?” He sneered at her back. Perhaps he would have shown attention to the scars, if it were not for her pulling away her silvery hair and exposing her nape. Even in the darkness of night, her fair complexion glowed.

Damn it, this wasn’t the time to get lost.

He rinsed the wound before carefully threading the string and needle through her skin with practiced efficiency. In minutes, the gash in her back was sutured.

“There.”

Fingertips pressed into the rough surface of the rock as the captain worked.

"You sound like I do. Cold. Tired." Betrayed. His touch was much like hers had been. Precise. Efficient. Surprisingly gentle. Within the span of a second her entire life had changed. She had no idea what she'd do now. Who she could turn to to trust.

A very large part of her hoped the captain would kill her. Or the others. It would be easier.

She turned toward him slowly, her shirt held loosely within curled, bloodied fingers.

"You should know who put a contract on your head. It's the least I can do in case they find us in the night." Art didn't care that she was partially nude in front of the captain. Silvered hair covered some of her chest and to be fair, she'd already seen the man - ALL of the man. Teeth chattered in her mouth.

Well, he was cold and tired, after all. Uvogin gave the assassin's trained, honed physique a once-over. He wouldn't have liked her to be this close before, but now? He didn't fear the possibility of her killing him. The weather and her former companions, however...

"You can tell me if we get off this damned mountain alive," he grumbled, "if your friends do not kill us, the cold will."

He hadn't anything but his shirt, damp from blood and sweat, to cover up with. A fire would only give away their position.

Uvogin crouched down and crawled deeper into the overhang before sitting with his back against the rock. "Come on. We'll freeze."

A rare show of emotion flecked across the assassin's brow.

Surprise.

Targets always wanted to know. Moonlike-eyes cast around them one last time before crouching down and entering the small, sheltered area with the captain. He was right. They would freeze unless they used each other's body warmth.

She eased down next him him, goosebumps dotting across her skin from the elements. Stitched up back shifted carefully against the wall.

"I hope you're not shy, Captain." She knew he wasn't from the past few months of stalking him and their...encounters. "We'll need to get close for the sake of survival." She would be lying if she also didn't want to get close to him for other reasons. She hadn't met someone that had been able to match her like he had in a very long time.

And that was very attractive.

And hell, they had a good chance of not surviving the night anyway.

"I won't scratch or bite this time."

That was a lie.

She should've said she wouldn't stab him this time.

That was the truth.

Uvogin cast a wary sideways glance towards the assassin. Their shoulders brushed.

Shy? Him? "I'm nothing but cold right now." The Captain grumbled again.

He turned to look at her closely, and his eyes wandered over exposed skin, no black garbs or armor hiding her body from him. Getting close to her? He wouldn't utter a single word of complaint.

"Well, you have done worse to me already," he wryly smiled. A pang of discomfort and pain shot up his side as he shifted, but he ignored it. "Come here, then."

"Cold? So am I. Let's change that."

The assassin eased fluidly onto his lap, facing him. Deadly fingers and hands firmly seized either side of his face and she eased in slowly, lips going to capture his own. Shivering, cold body riddled with scars that told countless stories of contracts and kills pressed against his own, seeking warmth.

Seeking comfort.

Teeth raked across his lips lightly.

“Yes,” hands quickly found a home on her hips, “let’s.”

The duality between the way she firmly grasped his face and the way her lips gently touched his was nothing short of exhilarating.

He was cold, just as she was, though as his fingers brushed over her skin, the warmth of her body threatened to burn him.

Thoughts of the assassins on their heels, their slim chances of survival, and the cold of the desert night slipped his mind completely.

Her kiss deepened. Any articles of clothing were quickly removed. The assassin's fingers and lips consumed the man. The man that had been her target. He'd see all of her. Every hardened muscle and toned curve. Scars and bruises. Fresh and old.

Lips and small nips explored his body. Nails lightly pressed into his skin - a remind of who she was and where they were. But not enough to draw blood. Like everything she did, it was precise and well-aimed. Enough force to draw the most amount of pleasure.

Her training certainly had its...benefits. She'd learned points of pain as well as pleasure.

Her lips, fluttering over a scar and tattoo-riddled body, sent shivers up his back. Calloused fingers traced over the firm contours of her body, over her scars. The captain reared his head back as she toyed with him.

Uvogin cupped her cheek with a large hang, firmly pushing her away from his body before she drove him mad. He looked into those fierce eyes of hers, and even in the dark they peered back at him with the intensity of a raging thunderstorm. With every moment of escalating intimacy between them, excitement flashed like lightning. It was intoxicating to look into.

He pulled Artemis closer, and kissed her once more. The hand that cupped her cheek trailed down her body, and he thoroughly explored her. Despite his hands and fingers possessing impressive strength, they were just as dextrous.

A sharp, warm gasp against his captured mouth. Her cold and shivering body was quickly becoming something more akin to a fire as warmth and heat spread through her veins. Teeth dragged lightly across his lip. Head bent to the side as her lips traveled across his jaw, teeth tugging at his ear. Fingers spread to rake across his hair.

Legs tightened around his torso and her head tipped back for a moment. Long, ashen hair cascading down her back like a waterfall. So similar to the time she nearly strangled him with her thighs and yet far different from that night. This was a night about pleasure. Perhaps a little bit of pain with a tug of teeth or rake of nails. But murder was clearly not the intent.

And as there was no more space between them, Artemis felt like she knew this man better than any man before. And not just because of how they were wrapped around each other now but because she always studied her targets. Got to know them almost...intimately. She'd just never ended things like this before.

And for the moment, it was easy to forget that her whole life had changed within the span of an instant.

A tickling sensation passed over his jaw and ended in a sharp, subtle pain in his earlobe. Uvogin shakily breathed into her ear, and as her head tipped back he considered it an invitation and trailed kisses down her neck, her chest, and to her muscled stomach. His hands in the small of her back firmly held her in place.

A soft grunt escaped his lips when she squeezed him between her thighs; it put immense pressure on his recently dressed wound.

Never in his life had he’d craved a woman so desperately, chased and anticipated any person so actively. The bliss and ecstasy he felt in finally indulging himself in Artemis was unparalleled.

In a swift motion, he lifted her and laid her on her back, looming over her and meeting her gaze. The words that raced through his mind didn’t need to be said.

Uvogin was glad their game of cat and mouse finally came to a heated end.

She hissed as she felt the rough rock of their small grotto press against her own recently dressed wound. The back of her shoulder. But she found that she would welcome that pain and more if it meant this man looming over her. His calloused hands along her skin, chasing any fleeting and lingering spots of cold away.

Silver hair spread along the partially moon-lit rock as she looked up at him. A leonine smile on her lips. A look that pierced into his own eyes, knowing who he was. Knowing it was like looking into a pool of water at a reflection of her match.

Fingers spread across his chest, ribs, and sides. Along his arms. Kneading at his shoulders.

"Come here," a hoarse whisper - almost a demand as she tugged him toward her.

She needn't tell the Immortal twice, and he fell over her with the grace of a leaf in the wind. The warmth of their bodies melted and formed into a single thing. The ruthless cold of night, the relentless assassins on their heels- they meant nothing now.

Uvogin's taut muscles contracted and slacked, his skin became slick with sweat and glistened under the light from the moons above as their rhythms matched in a blissful dance, only the night sky, and Gods above witness to the fervent passion they shared.

They carried on through the night, wholly enjoying each other until their exhaustion peaked.

Warm light slipped above the horizon, golds only brightening and cutting into the night sky like dagger blades. Toned and rather nude form was entangled with the Captain's. So this was what this kind of exhaustion felt like. The good kind of sore, like after a rewarding workout.

Head shifted on his chest.

"It seems we weren't murdered in our sleep. Perhaps we got them all or perhaps they're regrouping for tonight. Either way, we should move. Maybe go back to camp and see if there's anything salvageable?" Head lifted, pale eyes looking into his own.
