The Tundra
Malachi
It was cold, brutal, and unforgiving.
Yet it was here that Kol found his reprieve from the Lost Isles. The Tundra held no demons. It held no ice trolls attempting to take his head, no great frost wyrms constantly seeking his blood. It was a restful place for the likes of him.
At least it had been until recently.
Now as he walked among the ice and snow the Dark Gods taunted him. Whispers of the future and what might be to come, small echoing laughter that hung within his ears even as he did their bidding. Kol did not understand what they wanted. The Sorcerer was doing their works, but even now the end goal escaped him.
It seemed every day he stepped closer, yet farther. Confusion wracked him, and even as he saw the distant village Kol was not quite sure why he was walking towards it.
All he saw was the cheshire grin hanging in the air, guiding a blind fool.
