Eilerias rummaged through Ogden's well-organized kitchen, settling on a stale baguette that had been sitting out, probably something he was saving for himself. She sat on the counter, ripping off pieces and eating them before Isak came in after her. He had questions, of course.
She stared at the ground, her eyes still speckled with hints of purple that didn't seem to fade with time. She shrugged when he asked her what happened. She didn't have an answer for him. Not one she was willing to share, at least.
What am I supposed to tell him? The truth? She thought to herself. Of course not. That would break his heart. It would destroy him to know the things she went through that he couldn't prevent.
She reached out and grabbed his hand and allowed her powers to flow into him, sealing whatever wounds he had. It was quick, much faster than she'd ever healed before, but still painful for her. Perhaps the shadows weren't inhibiting her powers for once or perhaps it was a blessing from Sol'Nityr. She didn't know. She didn't have the energy to care.
As he apologized, she shook her head. He had nothing to apologize for. He wasn't the one who did anything wrong. It was her. She was the one causing problems for herself and anyone around her.
She heard the sound of Gilgamesh leaving and hopped off the counter, peeking through the door as he looked back at the group. "Farewell." She whispered before moving out of the way so Charity could escort Urchin into the kitchen.
She looked over the boy, quietly noting how pale he was. Was he still bleeding? She wondered, ignoring his objections as she moved his shirt to get a better look. There was a small scar from Lidia's healing. Eilerias could get rid of that quite easily while she replenished whatever he lost from his injuries.
Eilerias was confused as he fought her. He was injured, why would he refuse healing? Was he uncomfortable with others seeing him in this state? She didn't know. She had only just met the lad. "Perhaps we can take this somewhere a little more quiet." She tried to support the boy as she slowly walked him to the stairs. She didn't have the strength to carry a teenage boy like some of the others, but she tried her best, bringing him to her and Isak's room, where she laid him in their bed and began her healing.
"It will only take a moment." She promised him, as she set her hand on his chest and began to heal him.
