It was no oddity for the orc clan's to go to war, oftentimes there was no real reason for it other than battle lust. This battle would be different. Brurak had won several small fights with other clan's, earning their loyalty but this would be a larger battle than those. His clan had begun to make a name for itself, and now it would to that budding reputation with the coming fight. There would be no offer of alliance, no taking of prisoners. He had offered the same deal to this clan as he had the others, but they had refused that offer. There was no place for those tribes that refused to unify. Perhaps their blood-stained camp would serve as a warning to the next clan, perhaps it wouldn't.

The night before the le was always a loud affair. There were primitive music and dancing by fires. Young warriors vied for the attention of potential mates. Brurak sat on a large fur-covered chair at the head of the main bonfire, occasionally drinking from a massive cup of ale. Dark-colored liquid leaked down his face, dripping from fangs.

He watched as two of more hot-tempered warriors fought with one another. Tomorrow would be their first battle, they would prove themselves to their clan tomorrow.

There were those that Bruak was unfamiliar in camp, most were Orcs from the other tribes that had united, though there was the occasional non-Orc. Perhaps there would have been a time but as long as they were willing to battle alongside the clan, they were welcome at their fires.

With the dragons appearing at Bhathairk, the Undercity and the tunnels were all but destroyed. Entire chunks of the Underrealm were missing, and this forced her people to venture out into the surface. Orcs from Bhathairk had been given safe passage into the Underrealm, and they would be given their own section underground to find refuge.

Vyx had ventured up once more, always curious about the world above and the politics involved. She had become much more fluent with the language and nuances, and she had to put aside the matriarchal views. For some reason, men had a lot more power up here.

She wasn’t afraid to make an appearance here, not with Soulcursed and her newly awakened skills in Shadowmancy. Since taking up the helm of the Drow queen, she had become a formidable force both below and above ground.

She slinked up almost like a shadow near the orc that was watching the others duke it out.

“Don’t you wish for more for your people?” She said smoothly, the faintest accent bleeding into her common tongue. She half expected him to go on the defense, something she was entirely prepared for.
