Vyx’aria excels in bladed combat. Despite the proficiency in magic her siblings and mother has shown, her skills lie more in martial combat. Determined to prove herself, she has trained hard to excel in her field. She rose through the ranks rapidly due to her ability to lead others and successfully bring pride to her House.
Personality
Vyx’aria is generally quiet and stern by nature. Like most Drow women, she sees men of all species are inferior, but especially so with surface males. Born into a house with only sisters means she has had little exposure with men, only adding to her views on them.
As a military Commander, she places her loyalty with those she leads. She is harsh with punishment, but also rewards hard work. There are very few that can claim they know her due to her reserved nature.
To surface dwellers, she would be considered ‘evil’ in nature. She is not the type to make friends outside of necessary alliances. She is not quick to trust, and she will not hesitate to backstab others once they finish serving their needs.
Biography & Lore
Vyx’aria was born in the year 184 to House Tor’Rahel. Growing up, she never knew her father. Her mother had only seen the man for procreation purposes, and he was often sent away to live elsewhere until she needed his services again. The family was blessed with four children, all daughters. Vyx’aria was the only daughter that never displayed an affinity for the arcane arts. Though considered a lesser profession, she instead went into the combat schools to train in martial arts.
Over the years, she became incredibly skilled in her craft, finally enlisting in the military when she graduated from the combat school. Vyx’aria showed promise and was put in charge of leading raids and attacks against other societies underground. These missions were successful and her superiors quickly promoted her.
At long last, she was given the title of Commander and put into training to prepare for the surface. This was when she was taught about the harmful effects of the ball of fire in the skies and other bright lights that could cause searing pain to the dark elf eyes. She was also taught the common tongue to better navigate the surface world.
Vyx’aria is greatly devoted to her people and their goddesses, but her ambitions rise far beyond just the underground world. She has a desire to see the world above come to heel and know their place. Her goal is to bring war to the surface cities and to reclaim those lands for her people and bring glory to her goddesses.
