Isopel did not know how they had made it into the Orcs' village. They were...travelling? Yes. They were travelling. They could not remain in their old home. It was too...ugly. And too painful.
It was easy travel, though. Isopel's hunger had faded, and so they didn't need to scavenge for food. Isopel's tiredness had faded, and so they didn't bother sleeping. At first, they panicked and obsessed over this, but now, they were more pragmatically concerned. Namely, with covering their hideous form and with being ignored by anything that passed them. It helped that plants seemed to wither and die at their touch, and animals seemed to reflexively retreat. But people were not so fearful, and so that is what Isopel was primarily concerned about.
Wrapping the cloths as tightly as they could around their body, they idly shuffled through the streets, slowly. Perhaps Isopel looked like a bundle of moving clothing, wrapped around a tiny figure, a sort of cloth elemental. Or perhaps, more likely, Isopel looked like a freak that everyone would be glad to see gone.
